Hi Guys,
is OANDA Really Good ?? how many leverage will they give us in real ??? I am trading with ASIC regulated broker (not oanda) now, and the leverage is dropped from 500:1 to only 30:1 ...
although from advertising and other lists at several websites, they claim that they have leverage of 500:1 , but in fact it is only for professional trader with millions bugs of deposits, it is a sh*t for a retail trader & beginner like me !!! any idea is welcome. thank you ...

yeah pretty weird I've never seen that before live or demo. doesn't matter to me at this point as I don't even look at intraday trades until Tuesday
yeah its still closed for me too.......customer service is super busy too!!!!

We should be worried, because it means something bad has happened.
I just talked to an Oanda representative (was on-hold for nearly 30 minutes)... the servers are currently down... not sure when the Tech folks will get the systems up and running... Oanda will honor stoplosses/Take profits, but you may need to file a report with their investigative team...

i think its got to do with them changing from ip addressses to url a few months back but not sure

Bizarre that they would just prevent people from trading, regardless of experience or account status. Seems more to protect themselves than clients.

I've had an account with Oanda since the good ole days ( Around 15 years ) On top of other backwards steps over recent years, this is enough for me to reduce my account size. Not feeling too confident about their position, or at the least their direction.
