Hello Gurus,
Appreciate if you would shed some light on these queries. Thanks.
Q1: There is a steep drop at the end of back-testing, do you count it as part of the back test?
What's its actual implication to draw-down. In real life, one would not pull out of the trade abruptly.
As per this graph, does this EA have good potential? Do I need to be prepared for a huge drop like what it is at the end of the back-testing.
Q2: (this is from another EA). At the beginning, the Equity is higher than the balance, something happened around order 920+, equity started to drop drastically.
From the result table, there is a huge gap, where the EA was just hovering over the trade. In live trading, how should one be prepared for a huge drop in equity.
Is there a way to find out what actually happened during the gap? How to find out what is the magnitude of the drop in Equity?
In live trading, since the Balance is ascending, despite the trailing Equity, should I or can I wait for Equity to catch up and reap the profit?
Thank you very much
