-They consider it as lot exposure, so total sum of lots on an instrument. I had to ask them several times in order to get clarification on this when I spoke with them about it several months ago. However, as previously-mentioned, I was told that they were dropping the consistency rule for funded accounts. The rule would still be in place for challenges, so that people did not just get lucky with one big trade, and then use micro-trades to finish out the challenges. They want traders, not gamblers, so they said.

The reason that this was brought up is because they seem to mention this consistency rule inside their refund policy. I do not know if they just forgot to change it, or, if they are trying to be sneaky about it. Hopefully, we can get some response after the weekend.

Have you asked in their Telegram group? BTC addresses don't obviously expire. Their online support is not the greatest.

WTF ?!
BTC addresses don't expire.
And even if they were working with an exchange that, somehow, made addresses available only for a short time, the exchange would had received it and it's them that have to liase with the exchange.
Anyway, you are able to check the blockchain and see if the BTC address received it, how much balance is there, if it was touched recently, etc.

I have been reading this thread for a while and found some useful information. Thanks to the thread starter, and everyone involved. I am working with FTMO, and am very happy with them. Now I want to add a new propfirm. MFF I have heard here only good. (No EightCap LATENZ in Europe).
I am not new in this business, still come from the retail broker time. Their downfall in my opinion TST, FTMO and MFF have heralded. The brokers are going prime which is better for everyone.

Just tested Alpha Capital for 2 days. Oh dear oh dear... They don't like professionals apparently ! The prices you have are far from the other firms (TopFX, ICMarkets, Pepperstone, FTMO) And they said that is arbitrage trading and tickscalping on 3 different trades this morning. 16 minutes a trade ! Caution to those who live on it like me ! Waste of time !

So, I trade EURUSD for 12 years and LIVING from trading, like here traders like I read also. It is very exciting to see the change in the industry.
Imagine IC Markets Funds or Tickmill funding with Instant ECN Accounts ! This gives the new benchmark and we can benefit enormously from the fantastic opportunities the next years. That's why such exchanges like here are so importand to save us from bad Firms und Guys !

I like the platform just because of the order execution.
I struggled for years with MT5, after the change it is a relief to push the chart where you want. Or how many points how much money is at risk, percentage maybe !?? cTrader provides all that was missing. And not one trade in 4 years was rejected.

Hope there will be many more propfirms that will use cTrader. It is a quality feature and you can assume that the company really does this business right and takes it damn seriously like I do. ECN is ECN. With STP just right for professionals and those who will be. Prop firms should definitely keep that in mind.

Brokers big ones said at the Summit that the legalities are as good as finalized and the prop model will be integrated into their houses. The big leverage investors are very excited about this... as you could hear... clap

Regarding Finotive, I don't like the fact that they are not able to warn us in real time if we breach a rules (Daily 50%, SL, ...) But they are planning to change that. For the rest, their offer is really good (not funded yet, still in challenge)

I had the same problem with Ospreyfx. They only accept crypto payment so I bought the Bitcoin equivalent. But when I went back to their website, the quote was no longer available even though on the webpage it said it was valid for 5 hours! So after a lot of hassles I sold back the Bitcoin and got most of my money back

Anyway if you go on Telegram, look for "propfirms" channel and the guys name is Abdullah

-Bitcoin addresses to do not expire. You can check the blockchain to see if it has reached their address. The owner of the address should be able to access it.

If they are claiming that they destroy the keys for accessing the address, then they are responsible for such a poor decision and should give you your money back. The moment that they took custody-ownership of your funds, they were responsible for it and are now liable. If the funds never reached their wallet, then that would be different.

This is why you should avoid firms that only accept crypto. There is no insurance in place to ensure that you will receive your money back. Use credit card or some other method that will allow charge-backs in the case of fraud.

Well Well Bugga me. The black hole was not so black after all. They found the payment & sent the account through. Not a great start to a new business. Lets hope all goes smoothly from here. I will keep y'all posted if it doesn't Also will post when/if I get my first pay-out.

Its a Problem for a professionelle Private Trader.

Have you also had such experiences?
I trade pretty consistently without indicators, EAs, news, analysis, or other nonsense.
I trade discretionary, mostly pending orders but also market orders.

FTMO, MFF, Legitim for me.
