i trade mostly price action. When a level is broken, i follow that direction.
i trade during NY morning, and using a combination of different TFs but recently looking mostly on minutes charts. I just draw main daily recent levels.
I am satisfied with quick shots, no reasons to hold a trade for a long run. NQ goes, but also reverses quickly and strong.
I saw trades going in profts of 2k just to see price reversing at my entry in a matter of few minutes.

what is clear about NQ is that most of moves are chppy! If you want to sell, wait for it to pullback higher.
if you want to buy, wait for it come lower.

buying the rising price, or sell the falling price can be a massacre! You would probably end up selling the exact buy line, and buying the exact sell line.

what I dont know is:
i have 5k profts and payout denied.
next payout window I have no breached rules but had good and bad days so sitll same 5k profits. Will they deny again?

They should not deny. Because in the current 8 day cycle you did not breach. I seen a video in YouTube like that

but in case you passed the 6th payout works differently and must be careful.
your balance 150
profits 15
payout request 10 denied.

so next payout
balance 165
profits 5
payout request 15 (5 + 10prev)
payout will more likely be denied even if no rules breached.

to be ok must be
balance 165
profits 5
payout request 5
ok

then following payout one can request even the previous 10

but again. I saw this on youtube do not really remember even who the speaker but kind of famous I would say.
in my opinion, better ask them through support. They will certainly answer and clear any doubt.
better do before any payout request, just open a ticket asking clarification.
everytime I did, they replied very quick few hours maybe at worst

Let’s suppose your strategy tells you is ok to short at price 1
then market goes higher so trade goes drawdown
you add another entry at price 2, then another at price 3.
the trade is clearly in floating dradown.

now, assuming the size allows, the whole stop loss (red line) MUST be < 30% max allowed! I would say 25%!
and more, assuming market reverses in your favour, the trade will be better closed at leadt at the average price more than 5:1 rule on total floating drawdown.
so, if the total drawdown of the averaged price was 50 ticks at least 10 ticks profits.

I say this because when they denied me a payout, there was 1 trade with stop loss larger than 30% but platform risk settings would have closed it earlier. Indeed it happened but slippage sent it lower.. When they checked (probably) what they saw is my stop loss set approx at 45% risk and no reaction at all before or when approaching the 30%.

For me it is Apex, requested on 7th till now no response. I had acknowledged that the first payout I had violated the 30% rule. But the subsequence 2nd, 3rd and 4th there ain't no violation.

I have seen a youtube video saying :

1) Profit made 10
You breached negative PNL 30 % rule.
Payout req 10 will be denied.
2) Profit made 8
Total profit made 18
Payout req must be 8
No breach of Negative PNL.
Payout will be approved
3) Profit made 3
Total remaining profit 13.
No breach of negative PNL 30 %.
You req 13
Payout will be approved.

Having said, I dunno how many times 30 % negative PNL breach is allowed in an account in a 8 day cycle

Do they say reason for denial ?

And if they keep denying, why you continued to trade with them ?

Either you should stop and fix your problems if they have stated reasons OR gut out from them.

anyway, got denied a payout for 1 single trade breaching the rule 30%.
following payout was trading the very same, but no breaching that rule and payout approved

no just the same email stating the same things for the 2nd and 3rd. now 4th request no email at all since 7th april.
continue trading to test my system and now i have 9k buffer in this account.

What they keep saying is :

1) Negative 30 % PNL should not be allowed in a single trade.
2) 5 : 1 risk /reward ratio
3) Consistent contract sizing.
4) 30 % Consistency.

What is not sure is :

1) How many times they allow a trader to breach negative 30 % PNL.
2) Is it allowed to to break 30 % PNL rule to achieve safety net threshold of 6500 for 250k account within first 8 day trading cycle.
3) You make 800 dollar in the second 8 day trading cycle, you req 800 payout. will it be denied showing you broke two to three times 30 % negative PNL rule during 1 st 8 day trading cycle?

ok but in the email they state the reason.
be it bad risk management or whatever.
still you can check your trades . Maybe you breached the 30% rule again, or too many times the 5:1 ratio, or you set large stop loss.
if I am not wrong, stop loss must be within the 30% . Also, stopl loss and take profits have to respect the 5:1 rule,
and more, there is the 30% consistency rule! Highest profitable day must be < 30 % of total profit of the payout period!
if they deny, there must be at least 1 reason…
i also thought there was not a reason, then later discovered it using tradezella

1) none
2) no
3) denied if rule breached in the payoitbperiod

the 30 rule is importsnt and repeated many times on the rules.
also 5:1 ratio
also sl must be in place!
you read more and more and realize more and more

if you have 9k in that account you probably are not within the 30% consistency.
check the payout period (8 day)
get the highest profitable day and divide by 0,3
if the result is higher than the total profits made in that peiod, they will deny.

And with all these BS rules, I would advise people to go for better firms.

Especially if they keep denying not because of rules. I read here as well as in other places, they deny payouts but reasons not known or the trader hides to mention reasons.

As for futures elite I mentioned reasons :

1) My wife KYC is approved 3 months ago. She received payouts twice based on KYC verification
2) She earned 5 trading accounts and is / will be eligible for 6k payouts on 4 th and 14 th / 15 th April
3) When she requested 3 rd and 4 th payout req, it was denied and said kyc flag ( ? )
4) If KYC is flagged, why they collected my fees for last 3 months ?
5) They said kyc flag, after i requested 3 rd and 4th payout.
6) It is true that, my part of neck was captured unfortunately in the kyc video. But this could have been corrected some 3 months ago ? Why KYC was approved if there was a flag ?
7) Why KYC was fully approved at the first stage ? And it is said to be flagged now ?
8 ) And CEO asked for public interview, thinking that my wife can not trade. ( She is full time trader like me, But not a public woman like the most in North America )
9) And to CEO's shock, my wife accepted for interview.
10) CEO decided not to go with interview and threatened her.
11) I intervened and told CEO, " Get lost" We do not need my wife's hard earned money. You enjoy with the money.

This is real time experience. Futures elite is real scam. One needs to know what is the company all about. I do not know Apex is like that. There are lots of negative reviews about Apex.

well, sadly… who knows?
i mean, as long as everything is fine, everething is fine. Then at payout denial things are very bad and you feel you lost time and money indeed.
my opinion:
Ok prop firms for some payouts. Then live personal account. Maybe with same approach or similar in some parts.
I am on prop firms just because of this. Looking if I can reach the 6th payout on Apex then money should be better with no restrictions in max payout

the mistake people are making is thinking futures companies are any better than CFD ones. The owners, the customers, the behaviors are all the same. TPT or whatever it was called that ceo is the epitome of prop ceo. There are of course exceptions, but most of these people are glorified fry cooks.
