Dislikedhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?app=de...ature=youtu.be A guy had a payout denied by top step and account terminated. The video is in Italian but we can understand it with English subtitles. To me seems wrongdoing from TST. Profits were legit. He trades ZN, which is a very quiet market most of the hours, so it's normal to have small profits. On 8:28 we see $69 avg win and $22 avg loss in one account, 52% wins. This is not abnormal. On 9:29 we see $41 avg win and $18 avg loss in another account, 51%...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Summarized the video too for those who dont want to watch it: He used algos. Violated contract limit but he doesnt know why. Possibly the rule Trading excessive contracts in one day or unrealistic numbers. He is profitable scalper earning ticks by ticks. 10year ZN t-note futures He started to criticize them in his reply to their email. By asking if they are fake. Which probably just made them upset to just block him forever in future too. He tried two payouts of about $10 000. Denied but they didnt explain exactly why. Dozens of trades per...Ignored
DislikedDo not forget that ZN is very very fat market, so what is really 'excessive'?Ignored
Disliked{quote} I am being conservative at 2%. I can do 4-5% per month. I will do 2%, their risk engine will adjust my trades and I get paid on the ACTUAL return. No pressure of daily DD, trailing DD. profit targets, etc. However, if I can maintain 2% per month over a 1.5-2 year period, I'm certain I can attract 5 million. It sounds as if Darwinex is simply not the model you are looking for. For me, it's a perfect fit.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Darwin will scale down thats the beauty of it. It will not wait for MT4 to go down 5%. Once account starts loosing money ratio will scale down. For example my darwin ratio is 0.07 so even if I loose 250K (my initial 100K account + 150K profit) I will loose only 5% of total 8% profit I made. Darwin index prevents trader to make too much money at the same time loosing too much. Only way to loose too 10% is when ratio is too high like pip master is having 2.0 and go on tilt and put 10 lots of NQ trade and it goes 100-200 points in few minutes...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes, I hope it works that way for you. I just wanted to point out that it doesn't seem that "easy" and most Darwin's haven't really grown that big in all these years, have rather average returns and also very few investors have capital of 7+ figures. Personally, it would be important to me that I can at least make a living from trading as quickly as possible, i.e. be able to pay my living expenses, fees and taxes from the profits I make. With Darwinex this doesn't seem to be achievable so quickly, although in the long term it may be within...Ignored
DislikedThis is TURE. If your Darwin maintains 2% per month for 3 years, you will attract well over 10 million.Ignored
Disliked{quote} If you just hit minimum rating of 75 first month, you are guaranteed 30K euros allocation. You keep it for 3 months. They are cumulative, so you can be trading 3 allocations by month 3. A 1% gain at 15% covers your sub fee. In essence, you build your track record for free. If I cannot hit a 75, I won't be doing Darwinex. I'm not looking for the quick money here, I use the casino props for that.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I was just trying to figure out what it would take to get X amount of investor capital (i.e. without the capital that comes from Darwinex itself). You can apparently see the expected performance fees, but you can't figure out how to get a certain amount of external investor capital? From a trader's point of view, this makes it even more difficult for me to somehow calculate/foresee how and when I can expect which profits. So Darwinex seems to be more for aspiring portfolio/fund managers than really traders who want to make a living from...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes, that is right. I'm not saying that I won't try it, but I'm still having a hard time understanding the system at the moment. So you get the capital for 3 months based on the performance of the current month? So if at the end of the 3rd month I still have the minimum rating to get 30k, would I then start the 4th month with 120k?Ignored
Disliked{quote} 3 months cumulative, so at 4th month, 1st month allocation would drop. However, if you have been that consistent for 4 months, you are absolutely on track for gold. This will lead to higher allocations and open you up to the investors.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes, if you have an immediate need for cash, you need to be doing something on the side. Trade a personal account for living expenses and copy trade to Darwin, perhaps? Like I said, no additional work, whatever $$$ it generates is simply extra. No, I do not believe there is a way to determine you will receive x amount of external capital if you have an x% return. I don't believe you would have that anywhere though.....the casino props can tell you because it's not real money.Ignored
