my point of posting is for same reason.

If you read my post, i said :

1) 100k funded account
2) Trade only gbpusd, trade only at London open
3) Trade long or short as you see at london open.
4) Trade 2 lots and make 15 pips or 3 lots 10 pips, result 300 $
5 ) Quit trading for that day.
6 ) Repeat next day

It is possible to do in this way, but people mess up with following in prop firm trading :

1) Taking small lot size and aiming big profit.
2) On the computers for 12/18 hrs a day
3 ) Fear of loosing account and so taking small lot size but aiming big profit.

Hi folks . looking at a futures prop firm .Platform( tradovate) is there anyway to see spread live on chart ,like MT4 . not wanting to waste ya time .I have been searching for hours. Thanks

i can't even remember my last day of loss. i looked it up, it was in december 2023

but i still always organise myself by the week because daily goals aren't always achieved.
trading is like dancing, don't think and just listen to the music!

This is why prop model won't work as we know it for much longer. Even a losing trader (in a real account) can make money in a prop.

It's like I' offered an chance of purchasing calls or puts well below their market value.

As expected, with all the cowboys coming to futures arena we will see exactly the same pattern that we saw in forex, with more and more relaxed and generous rules, until most of them are not profitable any longer and start with tricks for not paying.
We are in the final Kms of a race to make money in the futures before the scumbags ruin everything.

Can we have account trading history to validate this theory either yours or someone else who's done it in the past?

No matter the amount of pip or dollar target one has, no trader makes profit every single trading day in a month. It's possible to make profit every month and 12 months a year but not profit 20 or 22 trading days a month. I have not seen that genius trader and I would be glad to see one with account trading history to back the claim.

Set daily or monthly target but be sure that losing days are part of your trading journey.

they referred to their terms of service in regard to crypto, forex and other stuff - per their ToS it is forbidden. Went quite a bit back and forth with their incompetent support and eventually, out of all things an automatic payment for a service unfroze my account.

Still, even in 2024 I was getting paid for some financial research by a client who has been paying through Wise for years, it took a month to sort it out. In the last year or so they really went down the hill and I am tentative to keep more than like 1k on there.

I agree. Trading is more than making 10 pips a day. The problem is the losing days, when you cant seem to catch the 10 pips, then 50 pips loss means you have lost a weeks worth of work and that will work you up. Traders need to learn how to trade professionally

Truth is the only thing that help people become better in life not this hype that I see here on daily basis. Some of you only know how to post comments and insult people who refused to buy into your reasoning. You can post more insults but until someone here can show me trading account history to back this theory, I won't buy into it.

FX brokers know that people buy into false hope and that's why most of them are still in business.

You have never in your trading life makes profit everyday and you'll not.

Advise is freely given and I understand you my friend. There's account analysis you did around January 2024 using prop firm and your personal, as much as I cherished it and the possibility of it but I know you can not maintain that kind of grow for long without blowing the account.
