I'm not with them anymore as they banned me from buying more challenges after I withdraw (only) about 20K. The payout took longer then usual and I had to escalate it several times to get it. When I started asking about the ban (which appears to be glitch on their website which prevents profitable traders from buying more challenges) on their Discord they were ghosting me for a couple of days and then they banned me eventually after I deleted my payout certificate and warned other traders about their dishonest behavior.

Of course there's no currency to select. Several other traders confirmed to me that the exact same happened to them as well and that it's just a cover for the purchasing ban

EDIT: just figured it is an FPFX ban as I cannot purchase from any other FPFX-based prop firm either (eg. Swift, MFFX, Goat, Aqua...)

The bottom line for me right now as an American forex trader, is I have no idea when I wake up in the morning if my prop firm / broker / trading platform still exists or if they have kicked out Americans overnight. Trading is complicated enough as it is without that crap hanging over your head. Only reason I'm considering futures. It will be like trading downstream instead of trying to trade upstream.

How much truth is there in the info that MQ will ban all prop firms, without looking if they accept us traders or not?

From my conversations with them its not true. But past misgivings will not be given and any breach of contract will lead to immediate removal.

Yes, I went offshore in 2014. Spread risk (80% in bank, 20% spread accross 5 offshores, so 4% of total roll at each). In 2020, I discovered FTMO, which offered same great conditions/instruments as the offshores and I could trade 20x my fee (max loss) and not lose any of my own capital. Added MFF, TFF, recently the 5%ers when they actually released a program that was of value. THIS WAS A USA FOREX TRADER WET DREAM!!!!!
Now that they are cracking down on the props for USA traders, I'm simply too exhausted (mentally) to do the offshore thing. So, I am going to be a good little sheep and trade what they want. I was trading mostly indices on the spot market anyway.

for me, I would only open an account with a US based firm, I don't trust anyone overseas anymore given what has happened no matter how good their offerings are. so that gives an advantage for US based firms to get us, the same way forex.com basically got most of the fx traders after everyone else left; however, for me right now, I would say that cfds aren't an option, they should offer more crypto in their offerings such as cross pairs between them like xrp/btc etc, so their are more instruments to trade and as many futures as possible. something has to replace the dearth of instruments available to US traders or people will just trade themselves without a prop firm. I still think Surgetrader is the best option so far but they need more crypto cross pairs and futures. Firms focused on nonsense like options or being only intraday won't survive long term once fx swing traders are making a lot of money for whatever firm emerges. there's a good reason why Topstep never became as popular as crypto and that's because most people fail as scalpers and give up, there was never an ability for that firm to expand in the way crypto did (in my opinion).

When I was an admin for a couple of Facebook prop groups, the chap from TopStep was always chiming in to the point of being obnoxious. He got booted when he was bugging people on messenger as well.

What an absolute shit show on TFT's discord all day... Due to lack of options they were forced to transfer everyone including non US customers to DX Trade + voyage markets. Traders can't stand the platform and are begging to be switched to Ctrader or demanding refunds.... this on top of delayed payments and wrongfully breached accounts.

Did you also received new credentials for the new platforms? as of now I cannot trade since yesterday due to the migration.

No I haven't had new credentials yet and like you cannot trade atm. I originally thought they had banned me due to the payout but remembered about the migration.

Will add new accounts today and keeping an eye on these props. Funded Peaks just launched their website but will officially launch later (I think around 5am EST). Will wait if they will offer discounts. Their price points are between FTMO and other firms.
