If you teach or show someone how to think in ways and directions greater than they have or others have and do, then you are giving them one of the greatest gifts you can give ...... they will be able to solve many of the problems in their own life, be it directly or indirectly, without any manipulative "influences" from others.
I do not indulge in false respect for people who merely teach superficial "solutions" to those who clearly, need more than that.
It is the responsibility of the person to find out, on what level of knowledge, is this person "helping"..
You have 3 basic levels -
Primary, Secondary and Tertiary. Or if you prefer, call them level 1, 2 and 3. The name doesn't matter much, only the understanding that if one is to build a house somewhere, you need good foundations to get started. After that is done, everything on top of it fits in nicely
And after this, put a plan together about two things - "About trading" and "How to trade from an observer's perspective". People these days are in such a hurry. Listen, if you are presently in financial trouble, trying to trade your way out of it is THE LAST THING you should be trying to do. The same applies to "lifestyle problems".
An interesting fact about trading - an automaton cannot trade, merely push buttons and follow instructions.
Genuine helping and money do not and have never co-existed very well. The contradiction creates false efforts and the one trying to learn must, at some point, ask "why is this person helping,me?"
Another fun fact about trading - you cannot teach someone who is too busy being stubborn and "playing defense".
I have met so many false intellectuals on this site now, it's beginning to make my skin crawl.....again.
"The little person" or beginner doesn't "need" another "trader" to help them. They simply need to audit themself before they get started. To check themself and find out what their "personal problems" are, first. This is exactly what top level athletes have to do to PROVE they are worthy to learn and change and get better. What makes traders special and any type of exception to the rule and process? They're not. Therefore, it's easy to conclude that most people, are full of crap in the areas that matter most, Until they learn to face their problems and EARN the title of "Adult".
Some people when faced with a real test of what "they know" .... have to step back and ask themself "what is my true motivator here?" Unfortunately, many people are still searching for that "deep side" of themself and struggle to see how their interpretations get in the way of learning something. I too suffer from this at times, I'm not perfect. However, on my travels through Life, rather than just trying to "have a good time", I paid attention and learned a few things.
I have found that a person who has little to no true anchor in Life, is vulnerable to "being shown/told" without even questioning their part in it.
Most people around seem to react and judge first, then MAYBE, ask questions later. Now let's imagine that the consequences of doing this were actually real and tangible. Be it a physical beating, the loss of something you treasure, loss of income, being hugged and kissed and licked by 20 or 30 puppies or maybe being told over and over again "I love you" by someone you don't like very much. Or perhaps someone choosing not to waste your time with trying to coax or manipulate you or play games with you (for their ends) so you can learn more about yourself and improve from the ground up.
Depending on your "interpretations", each of those examples CAN BE a positive OR a negative influence.
So it's always interesting when someone considers me to be condescending and rude. Of course I have to check myself, any person would. But after finding inside my central motivation, what is driving me to input the way I have, then I know it's more likely that it's nothing but mere personal interpretation. Some things are rather simple - being it is merely being it.
People need to learn that each situation can generate many interpretations but this does not mean that they are the truth of the situation. To find that a person needs to step out of their personal shoes and go deeper.
As a person learns to go deeper they start to understand how to go closer and closer to the root of a problem. As you do this it becomes clear that intellectualism only interferes in the process. The only way to really solve a problem is to include all pieces so you can appreciate MORE than just "the possible mechanical solution". When you appreciate all pieces, you learn. Gaining/getting and learning are two VERY different processes.
I have witnessed people quoting people who say to keep what works and discard the rest as well as other things.
All I can say is most of this stuff is taken so far out of context that I don't think most people even know what they mean anymore. It seems people like the sound of them and they appear impressive so they get thrown around.
Anyway these are some notes as I have observed them and as usual, you do with them as you see fit.
