Got my daily quota and I’m out for the day. I think that price is retesting that 5min OB but who knows. Stop was only 5 pips so I would call this a pretty good entry not zero DD but solid entry. I also made two trades yesterday GBPJPY & GBPUSD that I got a total of 39 pips off of yesterday. I can post the charts but their identical to what I just did today. At some point I will catch another 40-50 pip run like Bilal I just have to get my 10pips let my partial run and see what happens. I literally have to go find something else to do like yesterday or I’ll close my partials out early.

Made this post for a trader who lurks the forums but doesn’t post anything but doesn’t understand and I’ve tried multiple times and showed him the thread yet he feels the need to make this out to be more than what it is and bash the idea of an order block. You see divergence,Price makes new low, price reverses from low and makes higher high, price then sells off and will come around 5 pips of the low. We take the trade and see what happens with a tight stop. Now what’s keeping me in this trade because I got in when the 1hr bar was selling off. For starters I get in this trade at the end of the hr, once new 1hr bar opened I had placed a wager that price would go up from that point. I got 10 quick pips just trading the retest of the 1min OB. I didn’t switch to any other timeframes just watched the 1min bars and waited for an entry.

To be honest I only focus on current conditions so if a pair isn’t making lows or highs I’m not even paying attention nor do I give any long term projections just because things change.

After several mixed results I decided to redo MTF analysis with my own criteria. The observation of some losses motivated me to do so and the red pips were reduced. bilal is absolutely right to emphasize that the core lies in the knowledge of price action, I hope to continue learning and refining the concept.

Are there any more confirmation other than divergence, BOS, retest order block area?
wanna confirm the price will at least pullback a bit before entering
seems it's not worthwhile looking at candlestick price action on M1/M5 TF, while pin bar or engulfing or harami pattern will do good on higher TF

volume is always a good confluence element, call it VSA, tic volume, order flow, cluster delta, order book, market profile, vwap, etc but that is a swamp area to learn and apply.

no need to confuse i would suggest i tried to mix volume, market profile too but i make losses. master only one method give it year.

Look for H1 order blocks and entries can be taken in lower time frame of just put small lot size and pending order keep sl behind 1H orderblock and you will success rates, if you are into high lot size then you need to be precise otherwise HTF order block are good to go.

It would be showing off if you weren’t showing everyone who asks questions how to do it, I mean you created this thread with perfect example and study material . This is why my posting is down and why any day I’ll be done with this site and other sites where traders are. It’s too many liars and people have other motives and guys are coming here literally trolling. I really don’t get it people are on this site to learn and to see profitable traders so how this is showing off is people just being JEALOUS. I’m working towards better entries and zero DD. I’m getting close just need to be more patient. Thanks again Bilal and when you are done posting you will be missed.

Those are the confirmations but you can also take entries on whatever timeframe suits you. Bilal just shows that 1min entries are the best because of the DD.
Thoroughly disappointed with myself. Today I said I would hold my partial until it stopped me out and or hit the 123 fib. I’m about to retire from trading My GBPJPY trade yesterday happened to move 100 pips in my direction if I kept my partial running. What is wrong wit me smh. The fear of losing no matter how much it is. Crazy psychology

The only purpose i felt alot of things were missing here on FF so i felt the need of time share what i learnt so other keen learners can get the real benefit.

I am sorry for my English.

I'm trying to soak up this thread in me. I have seldom read anything like this in the context of Forex. The PDF and all the other interesting things in this thread are very valuable and I thank you all for sharing and giving me the opportunity to learn as a beginner. I am trying to focus my eyes on a chart that is completely free of indicators. not easy but my goal.
Unfortunately I still have problems separating the high-quality OB from the "bad" non-working OB.

You could try doing what D1n3r0 does and look for divergence going into the low/high of the day.

Look for higher time frame OBs lets say say H1 or H4
