This is my fist post in FF and I apologize for my ignorance in MQL. I have written in classic ASP, a small bit in .Net but nothing elaborate. I also have not had time to learn MQL yet, but have been able to modify a few things in some indicators I have.
What I am trying to find, or create is a simple Pitchfork indicator that would allow me to designate the number of upper and lower warning lines. The standard is three lines, a median, an upper and a lower line. My research into Andrew's theories of Median Line trading indicates that there would be some value in being able to implement pitchforks with multiple warning lines both upper and lower. Possibly even some "mid" lines between all the main lines.
I have looked at the functions in the Zup indicators, but it is way to complex for me at this point.
Does anyone have any template for a standard pitchfork I could use to begin my modifications?
Sincerly,
Clay
