Hi community,
Has anyone out there experienced the miriad of problems that I have experienced with VTtrader. I have invested considerable time and effort in learning the interface and the API. I feel that I have become quite sufficient with the software and can even build strategies.
But unfortunately, the system shuts down without any notice, message, warning or even a "thank you". This happens at both my office and my home copy. I have tried rebooting, contacting the manufacturer, and even sacrificed a small goat to the Pip Gods. But nothing seems to help.
Today, I reinstalled the software and it seems I am running again (in time to catch a trade that was running the wrong direction... but I fear that the system is not going to last.
I am only in demo mode at this point. Will I go further? I don't know any longer. DealBook never had these problems (but I didn't like the guy who kept pressuring me to open a live account before I was ready).
