Disliked{quote} Gator, I have never fully understood your view on that energy concept. For me, symbol of energy is Oil and the rest of commodities are correlating. USD is moving in neg correlation for obvious reasons. But should energy be free and Oil no longer needed, what is gonna happen with all those bucks everyone is holding just in order to be able to buy Oil? They are gonna get oversold. We all know Asia is stuffed to the top with bucks and turning them for Tbills in neverending loop, in attempt to diversify risk. Could...Ignored
a little history, why did japan bomb pearl harbor?
Field-Marshall Karl Gerd Von Rundstedt of Germany. When interviewed by newspapermen, he readily admitted how important oil had been in World War two. In fact, he attributed German defeat to three factors, to wit: (1) the Allied bombing sorties (strategic and tactical); (2) the bombardments by Allied naval guns; and (3) Germany's own deficiency in oil, especially in the form of gasoline. all 3 of those factories above involved oil..
it rules the world, those with it. will remain until it is no more. look at a oil chart. the fall rise of the usd goes with oil production. approximately 1973 is when the u.s. started importing more than 50%. its after a little war that the u.s. supported a side w/o oil. the sides with oil got pissed and closed the valve. oil went up, usd went down. mainly because the u.s. uses more oil that it produces. usd were swapped for oil. with u.s. production now back above that 50% mark with a higher trajectory. less usd need to be swapped for oil. u.s. oil production trajectory will boost usd long term. it will place more burden on ones needing to swap euros for oil, first converted to usd. in future oil wars, the u.s. will be less gung-ho about spending most of the cost. that burden will fall to emu countries using it. ever notice Germany is beefing up its military. check it out..along with a u.s. oil production and history. where was oil at 1.603x? 40 years of change dont happen in a year or 2.. give it some time..
those who can, do. those who cant, talk about those who can
