DislikedYou would have to with a 3.4 avg loss.
With a 20 pip swing and a stop averaging you out that small it is possible, but not with a retailer and you know it.Ignored
Other than that, if your spread is decent it can still work. But if you don't have what should be industry standard 1 pip E/U spread, then it's much harder.
I enter with 1 pip stops on momentum moves sometimes. Normally though its 2-3 pip stops (+0.8)
I got long during NFP with 1 pip stop loss. I got stopped out 3 times before I got it, but once I did, the price surged away from my entry and my stop was safe.
So 1.8+1.8+1.8 = -5.4, but I got +45 out of the long.
I could have even done that with 0.1 pip stop (using 1 click trade + stop loss) but thats just too tight, even for momentum moves.
I was looking at my retail broker screen as well, and the charts were delayed 10 seconds. Especially with gold and silver.
Anyway.. no hard feelings
