DislikedLongilo,
Any (using fork terminology 0-2 line) is the angle of the resulting modified shift. M.Schiffs describe the natural channels, abcd’s, measured moves ect... I have a couple of different fib channel configurations I keep preloaded and normally reference the m.schiff on every set I draw.

DislikedMany thanks for your reply, and I will say am flattered, that the Grandmaster of median line methods is defending the Great tool.
Honestly, am disappointed, if after so many years of using a tool you cant
say that the research carried out by Greg is correct and that after so
many years of trading and teaching you have prove it in your trading.
why do so many experts hid behind money management?
why do they hid behind trading psychology and discipline?
what hope do newbies have using a tool that the expert in
that method earns their money from...Ignored

DislikedI truly believe there's so much more that can be done with forks, but in reality the simple setups, allowing price to show itself, change of state, test and retest are best for simplicity and r:r.
Here's a link to another thread discussion on time/price that has my thoughts on forks and their representations..... this should label me as a median line heretic...
Have a great weekend.

DislikedAuxesis...almost a mirror image as to where I'm headed with my tool, posted a pic of it some time back, perhpas a different site...don't remember. I couldn't figure out how to skew the fib lines so I used a bit different approach to get my time and grid lines. Have some of the interior lines working but it's tough to get all this to come together with the calculations, as I'm not a "real" programmer...every time I change or add somthing the code has to increase, which makes it easy for me to get lost in there...thanks for the comments and link...Ignored

DislikedHi Scrutch:
IF you can spare a little of your busy schedule these days; please show me your chart on such matter again when you do have the time; I'm interested on looking at the geometry of what Auxesis is presenting just now. No rush though, my friend. I also agree on what Auxesis has mentioned about the simplicity in trading; but I just love market geometry and would like to 'tweak' around with it; just like I'm interested on your inner lines within the Andrew's lines. Gotta run, take care.

DislikedScrutch,
I feel for ya, and understand some of the problems associated with timing the forks, specially when it comes to dealing with weekends, your time axis, unlike your price axis has gaps.
I searched for the longest time trying to find the means to predict the market, thought it was necessary, be careful that your attempts do not blind your eyes with a predetermined directional bias and timing structure for price. It’s very easy to get a nice chart going expecting price to comply all the way and miss it, big time. So let price show that you...Ignored
DislikedScrutch,
Nice looking chart.
My last study attempts were trying to find an origination point for the fork's handle between the 0 and 1 points, I had moved from linear into arcs ( this is needed for the time measure) and adjusting the orientation of the fork to match the right side of price's retest attempt...
Rotating the formation.... If you can ever get your hands around a median arc! Good luck in your research!!!!
