The money I lose in the markets, I do feel bad, but I consider it a tuition, the losses are lessons to take a closer look at why the trades were lost.
The irony is this: most of us generally know whats needed; however when sitting at the computer looking for trades, we (newer traders and maybe some old timers) tell ourselves, 'I should do this, get in here, get out there' which would work in many cases, but the 'demon' in us does the exact opposite of what we say....and we lose the trade.
We know its time to kick the 'demon' out; but this demon is so intertwined in our personalities, it is not an overnight task.
2 years down, 3 or hopefully less to go. Cheers and thanks to all. Mike
DislikedAnother view.... Does the algo know where these orders are? Moving from clusters to cluster? Often it is noticed that orders taken out to the PIP and reverse.... other times orders are blasted through to the next layer, taking out old and new orders. {image}Ignored
DislikedGreetings! Any of the three, maybe four people on this thread "in the know" willing to confirm whether or not these were proper entries? Sure the trades worked out nicely but if the entries were not correct it does not matter. I've been studying the theories presented in the two threads for a while now, studying charts until my eyes feel like they are bleeding, running charts through strategy tester to watch price action unfolding around certain target areas and studying the posts in George's thread over and over. While I can grab these kinds of...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Gibbons That was a trade myself and Zoltan took last night and it was a easy low risk trade and a nice win. The TMA bands offer a signal that price has expanded in relation to a ADR setting. That maybe your problem, The ADR Does no offer reliable signals from which we can trade from, we need to see exhaustion occurring outside of a grind. A move that is inbalanced in relation to the grind shape. The TMA is just a warning indicator to pay attention and look out for a target. CheersIgnored
