These is one somewhere listed but it I snot very useful. You want it to repaint, so that the TMA will bend and follow the price.

It is too early to enter. The H1 band will keep going downwards a bit more until it has room to turn around. let it ride another 10-12 bars probably and enter when it goes out of the H1 for a second time.

Developing opportunity on AUDCAD H4. It will keep going up a bit, maybe another candle or two and its ready for an entry. Wait for confirmation.

BTW the AUDUSD and AUDJPY also present similar opportunities as AUDCAD, but the AUDCAD seems the better choice because of its relative relation to the Daily channel. Go get some pips!

This is one person's OPINION. I suggest that your try both and decide for yourself. I started with the original repainting version and switched to the no repaint version.

Hello Traders,

I have a general question about the TMA indicator. As we know, we can use TMA indicator in MTF mode and we can see higher time frames on a lower time frame. What I need is the opposite. I mean I want to see the 5 minute TMA on a 30 minute chart or 15 minute TMA on a 1H chart. Is that possible? I would appreciate if someone can tell a way to do it. If that's not possible can someone please tell me a tool so that I can see another lower or higher timeframe on my actual timeframe as a seperate window in order to add the lower time frame TMA on that seperate window.

Hello! Each TMA adapts to its timeframe .. IMHO. Here are just different settings

Yes it is possible. Open the FastTMALine indicator's settings page you want to see, for example the M15 TMA line's indicator. On the Visualization tab, you have checkboxes for all timeframes. Check the timeframes you would like to see the indicator on.

You might have to resave the template with these settings so it gets loaded after a restart, not sure from the top of my head.

I'm not sure why you want it that way, because I do not see any differnece, at least with using a TMA_True version.
The upper image is M15. Yellow bands are for M15; grey and magenta are for H1.
The lower image is H1. Yellow bands are for H1; grey and magenta are for M15.

I turned off price bars to reduce clutter.

By the way, just a note about TA on the previous post. Note going up how the M15 bottom band is tracking along the H1 midline and M15 bands are staying iside of the H1 bands.

Then M15 upper band goes beyond the H1 band--that should get your attention. When the bands drop after that, notice how the M15 bottom band went beyond the H1 bottom band. Did that convince you that the up trend was was over and start to look for sell setups?

Without even having price bars displayed, look after that how the M15 band made an up move and then back down--looks like a sell opportunity to me. And with the bottom band of both M15 and H1 nearly together, I would make that a target. Then a 2nd smaller up move and sell target of the H1 bottom band. Then a 3rd up move that pushed the M15 mideline all the way up to the H1 midline, but then turned back--sell it and target the M15 bottom band.

With price bars displayed, the 2nd rally would not have been sold because by the time the M15 bands got turned down, price was already at the bottom H1 band. But for the other two, should have been able to catch 20 pips on each.

Also note that you do not always see the largest timeframe direction changes happen like this. Go to the far left side and look at the different way that the M15 top band went from just below the H1 bottom band to reaching the H1 top band. The M15 bands made a clear up-down-up to reach the H1 top band. Then during the up trend, M15 top band never went above the H1 top band until the end of the trend. That is why when M15 top band did go above the H1 top band, it should get your attention. Check the M15 and H1 bottom bands during the down trend. The M15 bottom band is STAYING below the H1 bottom band--something unusual is going on...

the first one is Cycle Identifier (repainting) I cannot read the 2nd one but have seen it before and can probably easily found through googling it.

Along with the MA Crossover Histogram you might also want to use the TMA MACD. The picture below shows the two options - line and histogram.
It also shows the number of pips that could have been made using the worst case scenario

You might be right but when the trend goes steadily up or down there isn't much room for repainting. On the other hand this might not be the case in a ranging market but even non repainting indicators don't do a good job in those markets.

Yes the TMT MACD repaints as seen in these 2 charts. Instead or painting 1 red bar when the trend changed it also repainted the previous 2 bars.

the first indicator looks like a cycle, which is repainting but leaves a point each time it reaches a higher or lower point (the gray point)
and the second indicator I don't see very well but it seems to be taken from the matrix system, but there are several indicators from that system, don't you have a clearer screenshot where the name of the indicators is clearer?
