Disliked{quote} Do you favor one group of settings for all pairs or do you plan on eventually making things more complex?Ignored
Disliked@Richard Individual settings for each pair: I was thinking while doing the laundry... from the programming aspect it is not that difficult, thanks to the struct for each pair to trade. The question is, which parameters should be set individually? All? As I write this, I am thinking of loading parameter files for single pairs. Now I am really on a trip...Ignored

DislikedI've tested quite a few multi-pair EAs. Many start out with very impressive results and then degrade into large draw downs and slow trading after a while or other problems. Here's an example: BGNBGN832CL832CL Symbol Trdes Win% Profit P/day ProfFac STime Etime T/Day EA GBPAUD 7 100% 181.46 5.13 -- 9/09 10/15 0.2 v3w +++++++ GBPCHF 6 100% 198.30 5.05 -- 9/06 10/15 0.2 v3w ++++++ GBPCAD 10 100% 372.94 5.02 -- 9/05 11/18 0.1 v3w ++++++++++ GBPJPY 4 100% 200.81 2.92 -- 9/04 11/12 0.1 v3w ++++ GBPUSD 5 100% 148.29 2.46 -- 9/05 11/04 0.1 v3w +++++ AUDCAD...Ignored
Dislikedadded. (Or even build in auto-optimization, but that's a whole new batch of craziness.) :-) Trading 28 pairs, especially with the same parameters for each will eventually require a large account or produce unacceptable losses.Ignored
Dislikedbut it's still holding the EUR/CAD long and a g/j short (2% DD), wonder what it will do.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hehe, went well. Though I did not sleep much, one eye was with the dashboard. DD went up to -5.65%. Okay, nothing to become nervous about, but as the EA is still in a pre-beta version, I needed to take care of my testing live account. I mean, it is real money. Not too much, but real.. (Blessing)Slippage helped in the gbpaud, took some of the win in the gbpjpy. But so what: this was the only basket that closed with a small minus. All others green and over the testing time, very green in the big basket ;-) Anyway I will reduce the set of pairs,...Ignored
Disliked{quote} 2000€ But, as Richard already stated, it is not enough if you trade with 28 pairs. As I was watching the EA all the time, I stopped new trades and even closed some green ones manually, to get more margin in case the gbpjpy would need the 0.27 lots. It did not need though, but it was close...Ignored
