Disliked{quote} Ty, Can you please help me understand the reason for you to be on the sidelines? Is my understanding right: The tidane trend is the overriding factor, and fundamentals are used to supplement the reasons/subjectivity, in this case, was your decision based on fundamentals? ThanksIgnored
I (i.e. Me) am on the sidelines simply based on hunch and my discomfort with the current Bullish move. I have banked a lot of pips and I'm unwilling to let them go. I like moves which are based on TANGIBLE reasons and like I've tried to explain above - I just don't see what this move is about. They mention the USA/China deal ALMOST going through, they mention the BREXIT negotiations finding a "pathway/tunnel" which both sides FEEL they can agree on. Meanwhile, NO ONE is saying anything concrete.
I will trade this Buy basket BUT I simply decided that I will WAIT for a DC (I mentioned this above). This (IMHO) will allow the market settle down and allow us TEST the veracity of this current Buy basket. As you can see this has cost me A LOT of potential pips (I could have made thousands of pips on this Buy basket already) but that's a "price" I'm willing to pay.
Remember that staying on the sidelines is ALSO a strategy in itself.
I hope you understand a little better now.
Regards and Stay fluid,
Ty
