You are right, this journey is going to be a long one. Personally I do my own evaluation after every week, where I update my trading journal with the results for each trade, and on a separate column I try to identify an obvious mistake I could next time avoid, be it execution, market reading, or simply following the rules.
It has actually already bear fruit in some ways, as I have modified my exit criteria. My entries need to be worked upon, but even though there is frustration after a losing week (month), I know it's part of the learning process.
As for the markets you have posted, EJ seems to be a better setup simply because the shift in direction & momentum are more clear on this pair than the others. Which is reflected through the hull crossing more clearly the MA. That being said, the candle you have marked would not have been a setup for me, as I follow the rules of waiting for the TMMS oscillator to show the correct color, in this case the stoch14 was still above median line. Was a nice setup though, even on the correct candle (the next one) which I took & am still in.
