Ah that's easy. If you feel like you want to be rich today, set tp of 10000 pips . But would suggest profit locking early on.

If not, 10 pips I'm sure will get us a coffee

You are wrong about Virtual baskets..I totally disagree with you..Virtual baskets make a difference if you know how to use them..In the screenshots you can see what I mean..Red pips is no virtual basket using GiG CCfp Dashboard and Green pips is virtual basket using GiG CCfp Dashboard...Sometimes you need to test something before making a comment about it because it can be misleading if you havent tested it but claim its useless in your opinion..We are all entitled to opinions but next time you should do your homework well..

After 4 weeks of testing multiple variations of baskets and removing the bad ones and keeping the good ones etc, and by process of elimination I came to having a "top 4" baskets. Between the top 4 baskets over the last 4 weeks they profited over 7500 green pips.

Then yesterday I decided to take my top 2 baskets for the first time on one of my small accounts and see what they can do, and so far so good with +- 20% growth after 2 days.

on a more serious note, the answer is actually quite simple. Ask yourself what tp you were aiming for before? Were you hitting it consistently? If yes, then this idea will also consistently hit that tp. In theory, you will make more pips than before as you will have filtered the permanent losers altogether.

It's difficult I know as we can never be sure how many trades the ccfp will trigger for the day, but that is why you must test, test and test until you find parameters that work consistently.

Looks very good. Very interesting how you don't have trades in GU ( all losses) but you have cadjpy ( 7 passed filter of 18)

This is the point I have stated a few times, testing really need to be along the lines of what is intended to be traded on live account - otherwise, what is the point?

Maximum pips is not the best measure of success or even account gain, hard to believe and most will want to argue about that.

Show me the percentage gain when you figure it out.

It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

I'm sure you are tired of questions like this but I'll go ahead and push my luck. What VB strategy are you using (3,4,5,6)? Any chance you would share your VB settings as 3 and 4 have a lot of options to decipher?? Thanks for sharing!!

My opinion it is all about ROI, nothing more or less, if you achieve the ROI that you target then you are a winner.

The virtual basket was done successfully, probably by several people, but the one I know was where he selected several hedged pairs and traded them live with minimum lot.
When one of these went into profit for a period of time (his target was time based so at least it was a small trend) that pair was closed and the same pair re-opened with a larger lot size, this was then repeated and repeated so the "basket" had a continual cash turnover.
Like any successful trader money management was the key. I tried it successfully for a while but then my money management skills were not good enough so I stopped.
Perhaps correlation could be introduced to work with CCFp to generate a more productive basket?

I thought i saw a couple of dozen posts ago that this was just a displaying issue.
So read "20%" which by the way if it is over the balance is way to high.

I have shortened the TP and profit lock steps for my daily baskets. Ran two 60 minute TT for the GBP news at 8:30 GMT. 6/6 Green baskets, nice day. I have a new trade explorer for just these baskets in my signature if you want to follow the trades.
