Hi Patrix, yes - I'm kind of working on the theory that the candle close is a bit of an artificial cut off point. Since it can close at any time in a 3 hour range that I have seen, in different places and with different brokers, I'm thinking that ...

Yes, I hit SL -200 on eurusd. I thought that looked like the perfect trade - oh well. Now long nzdusd - try again (Edit: with hindsight I have entered this far too late - not thinking properly! If I had entered at the open of the candle it might ...

Great psychological strength Slurpee - I am learning a lot from your strength of mind. Thank you.

Spread — Even if it's a valid trade the spread you are showing there seems very high? Is it really 27? Mine's showing only about 5 or 6.

Just for interest — I am looking at 2 demo accounts at the moment, but one runs 1 hour ahead of current UK time, and one runs 1 hour behind, so there is a 2 hour gap between time of candle closing on each. It makes a big difference to the ...

Thank you Olu, I didn't notice it, but am in with you.

Good to see you here Thruster. For me it also depends where my stop is set, I don't always just set it at 170 / 200. In this case I set my stop just above the previous swing high, at 130. It's just been hit as I type

jcdollar, I think you need to go back and study the rules properly. Your first buy was invalid, because price was below 100 EMA and the trend is down. Often I have seen this work, but it is lower probability so not part of this system. Your second ...

AUDUSD — Did anyone go long AUDUSD? I thought technically this would be a valid trade, but there is so much resistance here I decided to stay out. It has broken the line twice back in April/May, but not since and seems at very high levels.

Why trade it then? Are you in for profits or thrill. I'm only looking for the easier ones, if there is such a thing! Ok - just saw your LOL -

Yes, thanks to Crude Oil Inventories, my USDCHF just closed out for +168. Funny, I wasn't at all sure about it this morning. As usual, could go a lot further.

Nice trading Slurpee, and thanks for the explanation of your 2nd exit - I am still a little undecided about this aspect. Waiting for the stochs to cross again now

USDJPY hit target - I actually closed out a bit early and only made 43 because I was worried about the support line shown. Actually went on and so far made more than double that. Must learn to trade the system. I am still undecided whether to take ...

Lokking good Slurpee. USDJPY broke through support today, and as I suspected I am now too late to enter safely. I should trust the system more, but it's early days yet. Well done to those who went short last night Edit: I've decided to get in for ...

Good trading daTrader. I stayed out of USDJPY on 30th June because of the support line and not enough room for movement, but as Olu says, we should trade the system. However, this time if it breaks the line tomorrow I will be in, and should be able ...

I thought USDCHF looked ok last night, so in short (demo) at 0.84073. The stochs crossed, are below 80, and the price is well below 100 EMA.

I saw this one as well, but I have kept out of it so far because of the flattening trend, and I'm very wary of the support lines at these levels. I will be happier if it breaks down a bit, but that may be too late for me to enter. Capital ...

As I made my last post, the AUDUSD take profit was hit for +95.6. I set the TP just below a previous line of resistance I had drawn, but it looks like it will go further, maybe a lot. Good luck to Slurpee and others still in.

I set a simple take profits on the EURUSD trade, 100% at 1.44270, just below the monthly pivot and daily R1, which was reached this morning for a profit of 142 pips. AUDUSD is still going with a target of about 95. Well done for starting the new ...
