Dear margiyono, as your EAs are are fast scalpers, I think you need a VPS with an extremely low ping time to get them profitable under live conditions, don't you think? I guess that is the main reason for the big difference between BT and FT. What ...

In BT only stable with 3% risk, if set higher it will draw account down, even on higher TF.
- Fuchur replied Jan 17, 2018
Unfortunately yes, only losing trades on Micro and Revo today as well. Small gains are eaten up by losses, no real gain in contrast to BT.

Today wasn't a good trading day for EU, both Micro and Revo went into loss, but it's also in BT, sometimes drawdown 50%! Just keep it running for a few days.

Thanks margiyono for the settings, looks OK in BT. I was using signal 0.5 signal limit 3 SL 8 for EU, and it seems to give a constant gain, almost same as in BT. Will try using your settings later! Could you please send Revo with signal_limit? From ...

GU is great in BT, but in FT I had only loss. So I probably won't use it anymore. The other 2 pairs I am testing are EU and UJ, both of them seem to be profitable. Good luck and tell about your results, as broker and connection speed also influence ...

Hi ectaco, try standard settings, but I advise you to set "virtual_pending" to true, otherwise it is possible that you get trading errors which can result in loss trades.

If it wasn't for GBPUSD, Revo would have made 30% gain today with EURUSD and USDJPY - now it's 0 gain/loss. Anyway, this is a GREAT result, I just need to optimize it for GBPUSD or use only one pair at a time. Let's see if Micro can be tweaked for ...

At least for GBPUSD small signal is too dangerous for me with Micro, although it is good in BT. Haven't tried with Revo yet. With Micro I will try with higher signal to see if it resembles BT results. There shouldn't be any trading errors anymore ...

What exactly does extended_signal parameter do?
- Fuchur replied Jan 15, 2018
Signal_limit is 5. Revo also had a loss on GBPUSD (signal 5), maybe the movement was too wild. Yes, this is an example that a news-filter wouldn't be effective and probably not worth the effort.

With signal 0.5 and signal_limit 5 on GBPUSD I had a loss of 60% on my demo account today. Thanks to virtual_pending there are no more errors in journal. Hedging both directions.

Interesting approach with signal_limit, so you could theoretically open 2 or more charts of the same pair, with low signal and signal_limit for sideways trend, and with high signal for news/high volatility. When it turns out to be successful, will ...

Thank you margiyono, looking good in BT, especially with 2 way Martingale and signal_limit filter, let's see how it will perform in FT. In BT it performs best on GBPUSD, even with Tickdata from TDL. Thank you very much for sharing!

You are surely right, but for clarification, in case you missed it: the author has 2 projects, one is the Micro Martingale as in the thread title, the other one is called Revo Power, where the author posted the EA also in this thread. In the quoted ...

Do you stop small signal EA on news events or do you compensate with another instance of the EA with higher signal?
- Fuchur replied Jan 14, 2018
For Micro, small signal 0.5 resulted in loss, but also with errors in journal. So I guess, it will be better with virtual_pending. On your chart, the EAs name is Micro Martingale vtr, is this equivalent to V1.02?
- Fuchur replied Jan 14, 2018
Thanks margiyono for the explanation. We'll see then which option will be better. Hope that it will make Micro profitable in FT as well.
- Fuchur replied Jan 13, 2018
I am looking forward to the new version of Micro with virtual_pending. For Revo this made the difference between loss and profit. How will hedging work? Will it lock positions and be used as a substitute for SL? (like the EA Open Lock) And will ...

Which pairs do you use? EURUSD just went into loss, but GBPUSD had a big win. So it fluctuates like in backtest. But all in all it seems to work quite good. Have a great weekend!
