ECB Monetary policy decisions

At today’s meeting the Governing Council of the ECB decided that the interest rate on the main refinancing operations and the interest rates on the marginal lending facility and the deposit facility will remain unchanged at 0.75%, 1.50% and 0.00% respectively. The President of the ECB will comment on the considerations underlying these decisions at a press conference starting at 2.30 p.m. CET today.

I'm more prepared for a surprise and possible big rally today. Just based on the fact of how the market has reacted to anything Draghi has said the past 5 weeks. It's rallied more than it's sold off...so that is my least risky trade.

Thanks for the kind words. I should salute you too! I have noticed you have been calling for longs on the euro as well even though most people have been saying short. I just cant understand : why all news - good or bad for last month just made EUR rise! Good news for USD, but EUR still rising, another bad news for EUR, but gess what - Eur is still claiming up... Eur is over bought, there is no good news around...EUR should be droping soon...Back to 1.22 ( I can here someone alredy call me a dreamer

This is not to say everyone agree - in fact it is a mark of successful trading to play only your convictions whatever they are - you can however choose to include more than your views in making up your convictions. I think you are sound, very sound.

Nothing will happen....euro will go down again these two bernanke and draghi cant do any thing just making false statement....everything will go down, gold,crude,euro and markets.....hahahahah....they r playing games thats it.
