US CPI Preview: Forecasts from seven major banks, still to the high side of the Fed’s target
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) will release the most important inflation measure, the US Consumer Price Index (CPI) figures, on Tuesday, November 14 at 13:30 GMT. As we get closer to the release time, here are the forecasts by the economists and researchers of seven major banks regarding the upcoming United States inflation print for the month of October. Headline CPI is set to come out at 0.1% month-on-month in October, a significant retreat from 0.4% in September. The year-on-year number will likely be dragged down from 3.7% to 3.3%.
