What are central bank digital currencies and what could they mean for the average person?

Very good timing by WEF as ECB governors are to decide about this during the following weeks.
The problem is that CBDC’s are ”A solution in search of a problem” meaning there is not any people who got problem with the money we have today.
This is not a democratic idea/solution as it is an idea coming directly from a powerful top, who aims to become even more powerful. The people are not able to decide or have been informed about CBDC’s, and are just expected to use it.

Another problem is having this separated from real money, in that it enables rich/powerful people to have real money while CBDC’s can be programmed to not allow to buy assets of value like land, houses, gold, bonds, owner stocks etc. This will give the masses a type of ’lunch-money for kids’ that has an expiration on it and can only buy essentials.

This is state parentalism which threatens freedom of ownership, as well as taking away all kinds of privacy.
It will also kill trading as it allows instantaneous enforcement of central planning.
There are plans to tie the value of one’s digital currency into social credit system and also to meritocratic system. This meaning the value of your funds are based on your own performance, and not the market performance, now tell me how that can be tradeable?

Anyways nice article by WEF, as it is not without self-critical reflection in it. I would however remind leading figures of WEF that it was the free market that allowed them to come into power and formulate these ideas in the 1st place.

WEF has had its' day. Western society is now encountering aftermath of policies which WEF and other global governance bodies have attempted to introduce.
Chaos and poverty for large amounts of general populace continues to rise. Owning nothing is not the desires of most people so they definitely are not happy.

Traders should be considering how that will be the major driving factor as future unfolds.
Hint: people are not going to be eating Bugs as their fate in life.
Nor are they going to be pleased with a surveillance state imposed by advocates of CBDC.
It has taken quite some time for all that Orwellian gibberish to cause trouble, but troubles it has caused and grassroots people are responding across this globe.

Housing, Food, and Energy, three very large forces which affect daily lives of all are becoming unaffordable and that means Out with the Old Elites and in with some new people with leadership capabilities.

Elites are freaking out as they know they are losing control. Proof is that three letter agencies now are used to target regular people for daring to ask what the hell is going on.
