For me, it becomes a mixture of things - how far PA looks stretched since last pullback, candle action around the level etc and then also, there are usually two or three methods of entry, right off of the line, 2B, 123 entry or reaction and pullback.
Look at my chart of yesterday again;
Ok, so this was out of hours, but my EW view had me saying to myself; 'i bet wave 'e' ends on my HVN line', before it even happened.
So you have entry off of the line. But you could also have traded the pullback (roughly top of my red circle) after we have the reaction, or you could wait and trade the 123 trigger. Each entry has it's evaluation and subsequent risk, but in this case, all three methods would have bore fruit!

Unforeseen circumstances today... was not prepared and got to my desk late. Quickly added lines and decided to include a small valley from yesterdays time profile, also shows little volume between 94/96,
Wow, i literally just finished and saw it retesting from above, result a quick +11, then it dropped through and retested the underside for a +15;
All this just from a small valley on a profile from yesterdays action. This stuff is incredible

Easily done MC, but sometimes less is more, it's all good experience though.
I still have loads to work on. Just added 23, but my EW working, suggests an ABC (corrective move), thus lower to come and yet i banked at VPOC worrying about giving back profits instead of running with my overall view (lower to follow);
Again euphoria takes over. In time i hope to be able to remain level headed and either run for larger profits, or take the break below again. I did try, but missed it as it broke quickly and chasing an entry is usually fatal...
