This thread is to discuss better entries , exits , filtering , low DD etc for the original CCfp-Diff strategy here https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=635569 .

Lets focus on small losses and big gains...All constructive ideas , indicators , EAs , price action etc are welcomed..TOGETHER WE CAN.

With DB_CCFP_Diff.ex4 once the bascket profit or loss is reached does not open more orders?

IMO this thread should contain only shared set files and entry ideas with screenshots attached.
Try and assist each other for building the best profitable set file at the end of the day. Help each other out creating a positive equity profile, no matter the type of broker you use.
Ask and you look stupid for 5 minutes. Don't ask and stay stupid forever.

My thought would be that this thread is for traders who already understand the methodology, regardless of what EA or DB they use, and are looking for better scenarios.

The other thread is more for people trying to come to grips with how to use these tools from the beginning, more focused for people new to the system. So we shouldn't be seeing people here asking what TF, FF, or GMT mean...

In my humble opinion and it is very humble the biggest issue anyone might have on large timeframes is the drawdown, a down trend and the time we enter, e.g Lopndon Open and the pair is at the bottom of the channel so to speak, the pair reverses and there is the drawdown. So how do we try to eliminate/reduce the drawdown?
Do we do it using lower time frames like 60 min, 30 min even 15 min, how do we do that? Use other filters, do we use 15M, 30M 1Hr candles, RSI, Channel etc. This is what I believe and what I am in the process of testing.
e.g. I have tested RSI M30 5 Period 70/30 with M15, M30, H1 candles using CCFp 1440 TF FF and 10080 TF FF successfully - what has anyone else used?
One we start compiling EVIDENCE properly about what works for a pair/basket then we have somewhere to go ... just my thought or two.
Is there a time cycle, GMT 00:10, 07:00, 11:00 and what pairs perform the best with strict timing.
There is never ever going to be a single answer and that is why the basket theory CCFp and many other baskets are the most effective ... we spread our risk across many pairs.
So my question is ... what do YOU use to make good entries in lower time frames.
This is going to be very, very complex or do we just go with Mark Douglas and say there is no way we can ever predict with any high degree of probability where any pair will go let alone a basket and just spread our risk using CCFp in multiple baskets?

Good idea !!! let see if we work together for a some sort of settings and strategy that will get the good timing , or good entry , avoid DD the more we can and put some pips in .....

I guess I will start this off.

My findings (so far) have been the following:

10080 FT seems to produce a consistent longer term direction, like holding for hours/days/weeks with a larger TP
14402 FT seems to give a very accurate short term setup, to get in and out like a scalping method with a lower TP

Well, let start posting idea and settings, here is mine . As you can see the entry is any of those pin, exit opposite signal in each, in case we get same pair same direction in two ccfp , only one will take. Trailing at 5%, lock 4%, step 1%.

Note: I think this idea can be done using higher time frames idea as well like firewight and others are using now

So your method is continuously opening and closing trades whilst the basket is still going?

until target is met, trades are closed only with opposite signals

Note: the EAX does not have the equity % target referring to balance when we start each day, so if we start at $100 tp=5% we close at $105, but now only take care how many % are you wining from last balance, not initial one, so if we loss some balance and it is now $90 , 5% of $90 = $4.50 , will close at $94.5 and not at $105 as I wanted when I started my day

so i that order of idea.. weekly signals should be used only for 3 or 4 days ..
But what about taking the daily candle when it open for a period of time inside that daily daily period instead of jumping from one to another one ..

in Addition ,, it depends on what kind of trading you want to be involved but i like the idea to be in fast and out fast with basket results that we know we can achieve...

So its not opening new signals if the CCFp prints a new pair, but it IS closing pairs that show an opposite signal?

Well .... some are opening 1440 baskets at 9gmt or 12 gmt ... so the signals for these daily candles are already almost half done ...
if we take them at the beggining . we maybe able to get more % of the signal ... just saying
