SPENT 5c on Jun16 UVXY $13.5/14 vert calls.....I don't know why I think there will be a little vol spike....maybe the premature dementia is setting in...

NOT something I do much and I don't really like USO, but I gotta believe crude will jump this summer especially if the war rumblings keep coming out of the ME....will prolly just buy Aug $11 or $12 calls, trading now cheap at 10c to 5c....could see a spike to $14+ if things get real...

...Bought Aug $11 calls for 11c.....an early move back above $50 for wti will push those into decent profit & I might look to spread against short Jul $12 or something similar

Man I'm gonna die from the lack of excitement in the equity markets.
Was taking a little sebatacle the last few weeks letting some of these positions play out. Closed out all my June ratio spreads that were bullish on bonds and gold for most of the profit I made. Those got mitigated by the lagging financials(I got killed on a bear call spread for AXP) ...

currently still short like 20% of my net wealth on Oil from 54. still short gold (but im feelin like im ice skating uphill)

waiting to get short bonds. short Cable still from 1.30xx, short the euro position I've been building since 2011 from 1.4911 (aggregate is 1.32xx now), long LOONIE futures, short Aussie, and short the yen.
just bought some HES calls yesterday off the 43 area. And Im long UNG stock.

basically if the USD surges back up past that 103.50 area I'm golden.

Hopefully summer stays exciting. I'll be mostly position trading off monthly levels so I can globetrot a little with the wife.

Did this too... bought a bunch of long dated OtM calls against some long dated credit spreads as kind of a modified ratio spread. cost me net 0 but if we break 22 and run I have full stock participation

below 17 I own the stock and will have to eat a pretty big loss (3%)

Nice dip there in the last hr about a 0.5% drop for the SnP, down just under SPY $242. I have SPY put flys off today @ $238/240/242, I paid 16c, had a 30c net out order, missed..... omg can you mofo's not even let one dip in one hour go without buying the shit back?

Pretty dead see if this sell off holds into next week, picking up some lotto SPY puts into the weekend

...it's pitiful. I am almost all in cash. RE too high to flip here. Equities sideways to upgrind 4ever. Any bets on any real movement anywhere are just small. I am on the other side of your short oil trade, looking for a summer run back to $55 or so.

Made some sheckles off those Cad dollar futures yesterday and closed that out.

Ya brother if I'm gonna give my money to anyone on the oil trade, best be you rather than some asshole prop trader for exxon inside trading on their investment platform hedging oil longs for some move daddy tillerson will make in the middle east that he lets his old buddies back in big oil know about before he short squeezes the hell out of everyone.

We got a few months of travel planned for the summer. Ill be bringing the laptop and saying aloha to Hawaii while we go visit Tokyo(get some radiation therapy), new Zealand, couple places in Europe, Ireland, London, and then Michigan and cali to visit our respective families for a few days.

I hear ya ... . It's been rough. Pivoted to broad index put diagonals at some point; got tired of being punished going TastyTrade nondirectional unless it was a no upside risk setup (Jade Lizard, etc.). Any non-bullish strat post-elections, and you basically took it up the call side ... repeatedly. (Turn your head and cough).
Fireworks are fun ... as long as you don't blow your fingers off.
