top row is 2 and value area and poc should be no I will only change value to yes if levels are a little out of wack

why cant you set chart to nasdaq N? you may have to call broker to have them add it you your package

yes I will draw a line at bottom of valley if it warrants it just the obvious ones not every nook and cranny the less lines you have on a chart the less indisions you will make

Looking forward to the session later. I took just 3T yesterday but encouraged by turning an intra-session loss back to the black

My levels for today..probably need to add a few (POC/HVN/VAL) from May 30th/31st.

If price stays above the extreme and close of yesterday's session at 5760 to 5768 range, I have Friday's profile levels ready to go. Price could shoot back up quickly. FOMC today which could be the catalyst.

If I'm looking at this right, based on what D said the other day, we are pre-market and already over 30,000 daily volume(heavy volume) and we are outside of value so institutions are in control. Maybe that's a sign for more upside?

This is true but if market starts to trend the other way before market opens that scenario is not in effect much watch pa market opened above extremes but didn't drive away

How many times do we see this, when price opens beyond extreme, but does not follow on after open? Gap fill is the obvious target.

Plan worked well today from the off, as PA was already reversing, but i have to work on a couple of things;

Result +55, but should have been much more. I hit that extreme euphoric emotion after the +46 and so stopped trading. It's difficult to return to rationality, (for me at present, at least) after such a trade.

The +9 was neither here nor there, i should have taken the 20 briefly on offer (hindsight is a wonderful thing).

I need to remember to hit 'sell market' when the reaction is to candlesticks as opposed to placing a pre-determined pullback limit. I placed a limit at second arrow and watched as PA dropped like a stone without fill, even chasing for two ticks, so in reality if i had hit 'sell market', i would have cleaned up for sure...

A good session, but could have been +90 so easily.

Just seen H's post above.... so in agreeance. I know a couple of traders who trade nothing else but gap fills. It never really interested me as a viable method, but yet we see it time and time again here using Market Profiles...

What i like is that, originally, i always expected a reaction at Extreme, but i had in my mind that it would sail straight through to the next level (gap fill & HVN) that i had on my chart. It did exactly that. Then whilst i was chasing with aggressive stoploss on the long trade, i also thought that it would sail clean through the Extreme again to the upside, which it did... don't ask how or why for my thinking, maybe because i already watched it react either side of the line earlier today.

It's such a shame that i missed the short trade cos it went instantly into the money. Still, you never stop learning in this game and so long as you can keep learning from mistakes, it is all good!
