Hello Guys

1st wanna Thanx Bemac....thanx for ur mail... Repect for Life

as we know Bemac who 1st one who Created this file... me and dan upgrade it... then i open thead "Lets Trade The News" and there was misunderstanding happens and at the end the thread close.... anyway.... Lets Complete this file to be good reference for all traders !

- Anyone Have Experience With The News Trading Join Us Here To Upgrade The file.... SO LETS DO IT GUYS

This file contain Most News That can be Traded + Avg PIP Move.... but (as we know News move depended on Release Number), the file contain the news that can be traded... expect Yellow News Inside...

-The File Not Completed Yet we still working on it... anyone have some experience With the news can Join us.

So in this Thread We'll Trade The News and Post Results....

i did a quick scan and a few things jumped at me. here are some suggestions for improvements...

> industrial production is one of the most important indicators, but in the file it is rated a "C".

> where is capacity utilization? this is a big mover, usually comes out same time as industrial production

> CPI has WAY more impact than trade balance, same with GDP deflator

> philly fed should be just below home indicators

> conference board consumer confidence should be a C

Actually I think, & perhaps Merlin would agree, that you should allow the power of XL to decide that.

Add a database to the Book to include New Releases Fcst,Actl,Prev. and Pip Movement from the Latest News.

Average Pip Move & if the Average is >=100 {Vote?} then it's an A
Average Pip Move >=80 <100 then it's a B
Average Pip Move >=50 <80 then it's a C ....

In the Avg.Mov column. If you Need it to have PIP after the Number {144 PIP} I would suggest formatting the Cell as...
Custom > ### "Pips"

This will allow you to perform Calculations on the Number 144. But the Cell will Read 144 Pips.

Here is a cool free alarm program for reminders of important events. I set up all news related items on Sunday. Ocassionaly, I forget about a news report and get a big spike surprise. This eliminates that!

Traded UK Trade Balance got : +15
the avg move was around 30pips

-Trade Balance Usualy whipsaws around 2-4 pips, but today was there's no whipsaws

Hi. I trade the news exclusively as well and was wondering what brokers everyone was using. I was using fxcm but changed to propfx just last week. I'm interested to see how it is going to work out, we'll see.

i was using GFT.... but this month GFT became playing some dirty games !, so am quiet and looking for other broker !

Please post your experience with PropFx as i am also looking at this broker. I am interested to know what are threir spreads and execution like around News time.

I believe that they are an ECN type of broker and they are owned by FXCM ?

hi everyone, nice topic! gary, how is propfx for you? i heard it was good for news trading. i also use fxcm. they're ok...once in a while i'm unable to get into a news trade, but so far it's been pretty good.
I was wondering if anyone paid for a subscription news service, or if the majority used some free service or (god forbid) their broker's news service. If there are any good free and fast news services besides newsstrike or a week demo of trade the news, let me know.

Very nice table. It also might be worth noting that housing starts is coming out at the same time so it could make things a little bit of a muddle.
