In at 12582 because of divergence and double bottom at 12575 with 10 pip stop. Added another position after +5, stop to BE when it hit 12595, out at 12604 because momentum stalled a bit and I'm a chicken

Everyone: how do you handle stops?

Hello Mingmoon. Fairly obvious that you have not read much of the thread!!
1. open another M1 chart to create second chart
2. We use PA for entries, indicators are there for confirmation not to signal an entry.
3. Renko/Range bar charts are not time based.

1. OK. I know where is the problem.
I had see some posts said that have to set different numbers of Renko BoxOffset with different chart.
So I always get the same chart with M3,M8,M16

2.PA=Price Action?

3.Oh,I though that it's the same with Period_Converter_Opt.

GER30 +2,+2, -5(stupid), +25. I took to the market for some quick pips. This looks like a potential 123 on the 10, but i kinda wanted quick pips. What a slow day, i looked earlier and thought my charts were not working. Patience paid off, but i did give back 5 as for a moment, i started to doubt.

Jumping to BE too soon can be a double edge sword. It protects the capital which is paramount, yet sometimes you get taken out on a smallest pullback.

It's always the same old question, all the way from -x to +nx: Should I stay or should I go?

I have for this week so far 6 losers, 2 BE, 1 winner with my default 3:1 and two winners with 8:1 and 6:1. That's net +11 "units", which is nice, but it's also 2:1 losses to wins. That tells me that my entries suck, because I have to rely on the runs to make up for them.

If you look at posts from Dee, Phillipine, Matomi they sometimes post -2, 0, -1, stuff like that. They don't only have way smaller losses than wins, they also have way less losses than wins.

That looks like a very comfortable position to me... something I'd love to learn how to do.

Do you know if is possible to find a Renko Chart in some online platform?
Not MT4.
I can use a pc from the job (and i can't do download) and i use, for the moment, Tradingview, but there isn't a renko chart.

DAX +20 Done for the day.
I have to say I am glad I combined the Stochs and MACD, seeing how the 2 relate is interesting, funny how I never really saw this while they were apart.
The Stochs Dashboard is turning out to be useful as well, but I am not ready to explain any thing yet, it is early days. Note; It is this one with the numbers and colors, those Dashboards with just the colors are IMO pointless.

DAX +22+29. Now I am done. The target on the 2nd trade was kind of obvious, wouldnt you say! It was obvious on the first trade but a BRN was in the way which had had many more hits on it than the second one. Se La Vie.
Just as an aside, there have been only one or two of you commenting on HTF levels for your targets, what are the rest of you doing sticking a pin in the chart, blind folded, and that is how you are determining your TPs or are you one of the many thousands who think that the rest of the market is interested in your R:R based targets and you actually here them saying (in your head) "Look Steve has got his R:R target up there lets give him a hand and spend a few million euros to take the index up to his 1:8 R:R target".
I know I Know, they say you can not and should not try to predict what the market is going to do next, but, S&R levels and BRNs are historically repeated levels that the Big Boys use time and time again and you donīt even have to guess where price is likely to go my first trade I left points on the table, but, price did go to the BRN, 2nd trade I closed because of divergence but Price did go to the BRN, where there any clues on the charts, that is rhetorical maybe even a bit sarcastic. If you identify where price is most likely to go you are less likely to close your trades out early.

Dee50, You are right.Every Your screen here is hudge knowlegee for me.Thanks!!!I make a lot of mistake(like today) but step by step I see progress in my trading.I watched very carefully for S&R,Fibo and BNR.Trend from high time frame always change on S&R/BNR and divergance on MACD.I looked in the lower TF and try to catch it and follow.Never trend changes in the air,without divergance ,fibo,S&R and BNR.Like You said earlier You have to be like Scherlock Holmes

Huh? It doesn't work like that? How am I supposed to trade properly if the damn market just ignores my R:R planning?

It's after the fact for me. I put in a target at 3:1 or 2:1 just like a stop, simply because a) so I get out if I get disconnected and b) so I have a line on the chart and can move it to the next obvious level instead of typing in numbers. I still think and keep track of the results in Rs, it's just the measurement that makes the most sense to me.

What an idiot. Fancy making all those pips, donīt you know that according to all trading wisdom you are supposed to lose so if you keep bucking the trend you are going to upset a lot of people.
