Math7 thanks for your efforts, but the Vdub Channel Indicator does not work properly with the RenkoChart Creator. But it goes with RenkoMultiChartCreator?

The Math7 Vdub EA works with the Multichart creater very well.
Which Renko box size is recommend? For test i used 30. Currently running wit box-size: 100.

Hello metta87,
In my tests, the arrows seem to stay at their initial positions when the bar is closed.

Buddy (Math Trader_7) Im trading renko a long awhile which your renko creator is one of the best. Do you can code and share EA based on RENKO creator EA with following rules:
LOT is adjustable depend of MM
RENKO brick size (points) adjustable my default 400
Renko type NON GAP
SELL rules:
Each time when is red downward NON GAP brick is full + next red downward brick + 3 points
SL in that moment should be 806 points
TP is green upward NON GAP brick is full + 3 points = trailing stop 806 it is way how I sorted out that
BUY rules:
Each time when is green upward NON GAP brick is full + next green upward brick + 3 points
SL in that moment should be 806 points
TP when red downward NON GAP brick is full + 3 points

To be honest i tried to put it on the strategy tester on a 5 min charts ( not renko) and the arrows repaint

In my case the arrows didnt repaint but sometimes multiple showed up while the EA didnt take a single position the whole day.

Thanks for sharing your strategy. Have you been using this exact procedure on live trading as well and what has been your profitability per month so far with it? Indeed, as I am very new to renko charts, I am still reading all the threads with hope to find any suitable and profitable strategy even if it is a manual trading setup.

I've set the EA running but somehow it puts pending orders way out of the current price so that it doesn't seem to follow the rules. I am attaching the screenshot so that you can see the current price the pending orders taking. Moreover, no slippage is needed on pending order as they only apply to market orders.

Hi, thanks for your info. I just found some bugs in the EA. Here is Version 1.01 of the EA that I fixed some bugs I have found so far.

I have traded it strategy on real 2 month a back and 6 month on demo. Strictly tightened with strategy connected with excel which gives me calculation exactly where to open stop buy (SL 806 points, TP on downward non gap bar + 3 points) as picture says or stop sell depend of situation where is non gap bar. Monthly income is between 33% to 57% on balance lot size 5% on pairs eur/usd and gbp/jpy. Size brick bar should be 400.But all process has been done manually. Let me test this ea months further on demo . Have to check history manually and you will see what numbers says.

first of all i would compliment with you for the very good work.
I'm a coder too, surely less expert than you in mql, and i would ask you why you don't add the option (in EA properties) to set an anchor/starting point (datetime) by which start to create the renko chart. In this way restarting MT4, we will have always the same renko chart a before. Obviously we have to download data history at least from this starting point.

Is this idea useless or i miss something?

Hi antony84,

It is possible, but not trivial to implement.
P.S. Renko charts will be originally available in the next versions of MT5 where MetaQuote finally decided to provide and support tick history in MT5 platform.

Lot multiplier makes it like a martingale strategy, which we try to avoid for this EA.

Can you add the Bands Deviations and Half Lenght to the VDub Pivot Channel for adjusting the channel.
You find it in the upload file from TMA+CG mladen.
