At your Entry take a look on the 15m and 1 Hour, EUR was in the 15M under -100 and in the 1H EUR came from the -100 fast up. your entry was to late. Your Entry was past exactly on the low of that short down move.
5M is nice to trade but in my eyes only to see a better entry or for pullback trades. So Bernhard teaching in the beginning to look on higher TF and that is true.
It is nice to discuss here with pics but better show the overall pic too, from them beginners can learn.

M1 is never late. Setup can be very clean. No lack of green pips.

Hello Swordfish, yes that is true but you are an experience costumer, for beginner this can get fast crazy and then they see signals where no signal is. second past nobody have the volume Indicator now and Volume trading is an own world.

Can you post higher TF example? like 30m, H1 or even H4.

Yes, I know. You are right.
I did not take that trade. I document it just to remind myself that this is the setup I need to pay attention to in the future. I have seen it many times before. When there is no candles on the right side of the signal it is very difficult to decide to trade or to pass. For beginners, do what I do. Document setups like this (could have, would have, should have)and write down the rules. Follow the rules.

I rented C-Volume from Mql5 from Bernhard by mistake (had too much to drink at the time). Then I decided to keep it and give it a try. I always wanted a volume based indicator for my chart, Money Flow, Future Volume, OBV, VSA, you name it. I did a comparison. Now I see how C-Volume help identify reversals.

Remember, the volume data are coming from your brokers' liquidity providers, which could have been made up by 12-15 banks who also handle other brokers' transactions. Data are not from the entire forex market (unlike stock markets). But the data do represent the pool of the traders you are competing with. So, it is relevant and useful. Unfortunately, Mql5 does not offer affiliation of all their products, otherwise I would have signed up for it.

@endy i will post tomorrow after a real trade on a real account, my setup is based on 5m, 15m , 1H and 4 Hour. i trade mainly on the 15M. The 5M for me is good to identify better entries and reversals also you can get faster into pullbacks. Ok here you get one from today GBPJPY with my "surface setup" so only 5M,15M, and 1H on the Screen.
Good example what you have to do and what not.
In this Example:
GBP is RED, JPY is YELLOW !!!
in the 5M and 15M JPY is down and GBP is up. in the 1H JPY is sharp down from the 161 Fib and GBP is Up (if you see on the H4 too then you will see GBP comes from -161 Fib).

On the Screenshot you see my Entry and Exit.
Entry was good but then look on the Exit. to early out of this perfect setup trade. Normal this trade works out 1H resistance (min 35 pips) but i made 28 pips in GBPAUD in the same time.
So this is a perfect setup and it comes very often in the beginning of Frankfurt and London opening.

@Swordfish The C-Volume looks quiet interesting.

The C-Volume is mostly used as a filter or warning as Swordfish has mentioned above in his examples. It will improve your trading.

so today i have a good example in GBPJPY what you have not to do (negative Trade you can learn a lot, me too).

Currency Strength with Chinese Yuan CNH:
There has been strong and consistent growth in the CNH market throughout the internationalisation process.
If you want to add Chinese Yuan CNH to the 8 main currencies then use
Currency Strength Exotics Indicator
(Settings: "fix EXOTIC pair name" = USDCNH)

Hi Bernhard,

when i tried to load the profile in your tutorial, some charts do not have data as you can see from the screen shot (that's UCAD)

also for H1, i only see 13 charts, not 28.

what should i do?

Edit : I loaded the H4 profiles, change all chart to H1 and save it as H1 profiles
