GBP/JPY H1 Observations

Not had any time to Trade since Wednesday.

The Markets might be Random by Nature, dependant on the Orders that the Banks receive that need to be filled.

But the way Price moves to fill the Orders can be predicted.

When Price Breaks, either Long or Short, it will often return to Test the Break Out Point particularly if the Break is from a Round or Half Number.

GBP/JPY M1 Observations

I've not entered this Trade because of the time of week, but it shows what I look for before entering a Trade.

When I Enter a Trade I look for the nearest Swing Point to be at least 1R from my Entry.

I usually Target between 1.5 and 2.5R.

The less time you spend exposed to the Markets fluctuations the better.

If Price continues to move in the direction of my Trade I can always re-enter after another Pullback to a Logical Level.

What kind of PA pattern are you waiting to see?

Could you please upload a picture of GBPJPY M1 with example of where you took the trade?

Hi George,

The image below shows what I look for to trigger a Trade.

I look for Inside Candles - Engulfing Candles - Pin Bars, mostly, to enter from no matter which TF I'm Trading from.

Some people will enter immediately on a touch of a Level of Interest.

It's very much a personal thing and what YOU feel comfortable with and works for YOU.
