The salesperson from Tradeview told me it's better not to sign up under an IB because my spreads will be higher if I sign up under one. I was interested in the cashback program, but is it true that my spreads will be affected??

Well mate,
It strictly depends on what kind of deal the broker and your IB have.
If there is a spread widening in comparison to their standard conditions, obviously, some mark-up is coming into play. But in such cases usually the IB and the client are signing a document where it is clearly stated that the client will be trading with commission on top or in spread or something else.
