Have any of you seen that your EA suddenly disappear from your charts?

Running MT4 Build 1080

That is strange. First time I hear such issue. Is this a recurring problem? Since when?

just look in the experts or journal tab, there u will see an error message that explain why the ea has been removed.

hey george...... several things come to mind......

i code some of my ea's to intentionally remove themselves completely from the chart at certain times or conditions...... so that's a possibility....

also, with the later builds metaquotes included a built in function to remove items that could not get passed the init function in a timely manner..... this was primarily for when the item was initially attached ..... but if something is recalling the init function it could have the same effect.....

just to name a couple......h
to trade and code, keep both simple... no call to impress....h

I have seen it a few times on different brokers and different EA's, but have been told that this is a MT4 problem. Cannot find any solution to fix it though.

I the beginning i thought it was the EA, but as said seen it a few times after with other EA.

That was the first thing i did, but there was nothing telling me why. I will keep an eye on these two tabs though to see if anything could tell why this is happening.

I believe, likely the issue is with Win10+Mt4 compatibility... hmmm

Yes, i'm using Windows 10 and have not download the Windows Creator Update.

Yeah but I reckon the Win Creator is included in win 10.
Maybe you should try use a different computer with Win 8.1 and check if the problem exists there as well.
Or worst scenario downgrade your OS to win 8.1.
Or get used to the issue and wait until the next MT4 build release.

I use Win 8.1.

my MT4 crashes since I've got build 1080 on my VPS. I start MT4 and 3 minutes after starting the platform it crashes. On VPS I have the old Win 2008 Server, all work perfect before Build 1080.....I have installed a new MT4 but the Problems are the same.

No, I don't think that's the issue.
Some Experts were removed and some were not. This happened after I restarted the terminals, where the update took place.

yes, I use the old System and has reinstalled MT4, but this don't solve my Problem

I think I have to update to Win2012 or 2016
