Hey there,

interesting thread you have going on. I recently moved on to stocks, had a decent month and 1 week. TSLA has been plenty generous, as well as NVIDIA for as long as it lasted. I'm trying to "up my euro game" right now, but the markets aren't helping much

i don't trade the market only invest currently - that could change soon.

buying dips seems to work very well :-)

Started off investing as well, I never thought day trading stocks could fair well, but I cave in. Buying dips works because, well you said it yourself - it's our mentality to go long in the stock market.

Before day trading, earlier this year I managed to hop on board a couple of IPOs, HGV for instance which ripped so fast and then there were some shares in Sanofi. Currently holding Cost Co in my longer term portfolio as well as a couple of pharmaceuticals with large gaps to fill. I've also found gaps work pretty much the same way as they do in the forex market.

Hi wdays,this days day trading is a hard work,markets are changing very fast and most stratagies dont work as used to...and we have HFTs in all markets wich distort trading

Tell me about it, I try to focus on a very volatile mover, as was the case previously with NVIDIA and then TESLA, but eventually they slow down. You have to constantly keep an eye out for new movers. I also keep slower moving stocks and aim for 0.50-0.75% and constantly have half a dozen short term positions, which I know I cannot close during the day.

I daytrade dax 30 index mostly,around the london open,but now i am thinking about a stock portfolio with ubdervalued stocks,p/e <15 but its not an easy task...

Don't use PE < 15 as an unmovable rule. Some sectors that number should be lower, such as this one.

My twitter position has taken off, which in some ways is a bit of a shame because I was hoping for lower so I could average down, but in other respects I'm glad it's moving in the right direction.
