[...] By the way, I'm also looking into some kind of "trend wash wave", doing some research and tests, the basic idea I posted here (awesome thread about wolfe waves). If it shows promise could be a good addition to our framework, especially because it takes the manipulation of the crowd into account which, as posted above, is a great market principle.

Just an example for 2 trading opportunities by combining few elements of the framework: crowd manipulation, wolfe waves, market harmonics

About rotation candles, it is a concept from Mr.Pip (Damian Castilla), very useful for timing an entry in an area of interest if not using pending orders.

Hi Juri,
I remember you from your posts on RTM, I was also a member and been trying to learn market dynamics for quite sometime. However the one which is your favorite is the one that keeps on confusing me, "Symmetry". By symmetry, do you mean the size of the Flag Limits for a bullish engulfing and corresponding bearish engulfing are identical?

No (space) symmetry is really simple, it's just like a QM (quasimodo) pattern, but I'm not calling it QM because that specific pattern requires a LL (bearish QM) and HH (bullish) break of structure. Some of the best symmetrical levels are just fake out levels.
I think it is well explained on the RTM FF thread and PIE thread (linked in post #1).
Ifmyante took this really to the next level, especially in combination with the Flag Limit (FL) concept, basically, the only places to look for an entry are those zones.
Checkout youtube for "readthemarket" and "RTMcommunity", the webinars explain it also visually.

I'm not sure about that, I guess it's about decisions, whenever a high or low (key level) is broken a new decision is made. Those zones have unfilled orders, so when price comes back again we look for clues (PA, crowd psychology, etc...)

GU did not continue down.
Either the read was wrong or price is in an extended fake out (FO), meaning price goes beyond the original reaction level to trap more traders before turning. Because it is tricky to differentiate between a genuine fake out and a wrong price read I have a rule that allows me to enter 2 traders and not more for each signal (engulf). If the first trade is stopped, I usually check HTF levels to see if price is making a FO into an even better level and if it makes sense from a pain point of view, if I'm confident, then I enter the second trade, but in case of GU, was not so much convinced because in my view GU is up on HTF and also because I was already short on EU which is somewhat correlated at times.

Sorry to hear that.
Honestly, never gave you my contact info, also I don't remember a Chris on RTM.
By the way I am no longer a member of RTM, so can't help you anyway.

This thread is on hold, the way I was trading (engulf signals and entries on deep retracements to origin of moves, ideally in combination with QMs) does not work consistently for me. But I'm working on a different entry style, more in the crowd wave style (similar to wolfe waves) as a contrarian trading style against the expectation of the crowd which usually follows trends and HH/HL LL/LH structures until they get trapped. This entry style in combination with symmetry, QM levels and general decision levels offers a better way.
Also because engulfs of market structures (S/D, SR and decision points) usually offer a good hint for future market direction, but the few time where price retraces very deeply or even fakes out lower the probability of price continuing the same direction.
Looking forward to continue the experiment, once the foundation is solid, maybe even a different thread if the style is much different.
