Dislikedi worked several years in the back office of the dealing desk in headquarters of a commercial bank in europe most of what is posted here is total BS banks DONT control FX. banks are not market makers in the FX world. but they ARE market makers for their clients the dealing desk of a central banks has one important task at hand each and every day from monday to friday : to provide funds at the request of its clients MOST of the funds (75% or more) are funds in local currency. the rest to 100% are funds required in foreign currency, witch can be provided...Ignored
