Hope ur in this too, if not dont complain again about the market because this is a classic DIV @BRN & S/R with a 123 to confirm and give the entry point.

GER30 +35. End result, I was tempted to move TP further up, but it spiked a bit and took me, probably for the best. I got taken by surprise by the reaction to the BOE by the DAX so I actually missed the lot so I see this as compensation, because I felt that that rapid drop was aimed specifically at me to try and catch me out.

GER30 +40+10. 2B + Div +BRN - 123 and away we go. Got a pullback to add another but it moved too quickly for me to get the TP down with the other.

DAX +7 +4 +5 +4 +2 +6 +5 = 33

Maybe I was too scared about managing positions, but pips are pips, aren't they ?

Actually it was, because 127,2% of the day and PA confirmed it, but only for scalp. The double bottom from H1 was just 10 pips below and it was far better turn over point for longer run up .

Btw, what do you think guys, are we going to break that double bottom ?

Pheww...I was wrecking my brain for the answer cause I would've taken that trade too. But then again, my TP is only for a quick 10 pips, here and there.

If you used high just before the NYO then second div would end up at 161.8%. Which agrees with 23.6% fib PB quite well.

I wouldn't take either of them. I'd like to see nice pullback to up that would persuade me it won't do another crappy low. But I agree second was better choice, 30min 200 ema bounce, S/R quite near, DB.

Hi Matomi,

I looked at this for quite a while and could not see the issue what dee was hinting at, if you have the time could you explain the high / low for the fib that gave 127.2 at the divergence. Trying to understand what you mean by 127.2% for the day ? appreciate any explanation you can give

hello house, first i want to say a big thank you to all the masters for their valuable contributions and knowledge out here...@dee50, matomi,philipinex and others i have a challenge in the attached image, how do i handle not entering multiple trading divergence as the image below there was a short reversal divergence that took three times before it could materialize, pls how do i know the right time to strike or handle entering each time until it kicks off, thanks

My take is...it has to be more than just a divergence.

Look at the PZ where the divergence is forming. Is it at Big Round Numbers (BRN)? Weekly Pivot?

Personally, I don't trade just by any divergence alone.

I look at macd divergence not as a trading signal but as a possible confirmation of a reversal off of a significant level, trend line break , fib etc.....in the case of the chart you posted it looks like the 2 divergences confirms the trend line break.......just my 2 cents.....Dee is the divergence expert here....he can elaborate more...

Hello everyone,

is there a list of important posts or clarifications about this thread somewhere? unfortunately nothing like that is in the first post and the thread is quite lenghthy. for example what does 2B mean, or 123 in the context of this thread. I just dont know where to start. Can anyone help me?

Hi Stelah,

Speaking as one who is still learning and who has gained a lot of invaluable knowledge from this thread my advice would be to spend the time working through the thread from the beginning, I appreciate that not every comment is a gem or contains a magic insight but from my experience it is worth the effort. The exercise itself will set your mindset in a way that will let you understand how some of the great traders who contribute to this thread see the market and trade accordingly. Then try as best to follow in real time as trades are posted and comments made and this gives an even better understanding of how successful traders are working the market. This is where I am just now, I am still making too many stupid mistakes, however they are getting fewer and my hope is that soon these stupid trades will be outweighed with the profitable trades on a consistent basis and then I am on my way.

I agree with what DesB said. Besides, 444 pages is easy.
You're gonna see the same things being posted all over again.
What you can learn, though, is through the off hands comments...trading wisdoms that can get u insights of how some traders' minds here work.
Those are invaluable!

thank you philipineFx, as always you were much helpful, thanks for pointing out the trend line break, i would like to know in the case of this particular trade, where would you have taken your sell trade and why(GBPJPY 3 pip renko).....wish sir Gee50 could come share his experience with us. thanks phlipineFx for your time.
