Update: With Data Scraper extension for Chrome it's easy to save those tables to .csv format.

So, is it possible to make pivot indi read that file(s) for pivot points values and plot lines according with them?

Yes it's possible, but how does the CSV looks like?

hi
i would like the indicator I use to be an EA, there is icustom code available it just needs putting together.
Basically at the moment I make a trade on an alert. I would like it to trade on the alert automatically.
Settings, would like to select your selected amount of pip for profit and stoploss. That is all.

Would anyone be interest? Manually has been successful for scalping but I take too long and miss trades

Try the attached indicator. I couldn't test it properly as I don't have a sample CSV file to work with.

It expects to find the CSV file (name matching your CSVfilename setting) in your .../MT4/Files folder.

In the CSV file, the first entry on each line must be the symbol ID, which must exactly match the instrument/symbol of the current chart, for horizontal lines to be plotted at the levels of each of the remaining (price-based) entries on the line. (If your br0ker suffixes symbol IDs, e.g. "EURUSDpro", then enter the suffix, e.g. "pro", into SymbolSuffix).

To plot pivots from multiple TFs on the same chart, attach multiple versions of the indy with different CSVfilename settings.

The rest should be self-explanatory and/or can be discovered with a little experimentation. Some Easter eggs exist to reward diligent seekers.

Note to programmers: the indicator was written using MT4 build 509. If you want to compile the MQ4 without errors, you'll need the MQH libraries and the build 509 MetaEditor/compiler (both are supplied in the ZIP file).

the icustom to be called requires the harmonic_license indicator is this that? and
there are so many pattern whic is that pattern that you trade and the rule for buy/sell
if you dont know this information you can not to do ea.

Hi all, can anyone coded indicator that show on chart like this,
calculating average 20 days and show it everyday (historically), hard to explaining it, better i explain on picture below.

For studying price movement, it would be nice, thanks before.

  1. Warning: The above indicators have a non-repaired fault.
  2. If the above indicators are deleted from the chart they will delete all drawn technical lines - S & R, Channels, Fibs, text.....
  3. A piss-off if a large number of drawn technicals - on chart for a few weeks - are suddenly wiped out !

hey guys, im new to the ea idea, was wondering, is it possible to open a trade based on a time constraint? i.e. london open, or ny open. Or do EA's just open a trade based on parameters such as 15 sma crossing the 30 sma?

Thanks, Phylo for Walking me through my 1st Indicator Code modification. I've place according to your Instruction The 2nd part of your code for single TF work perfectly 1)Under #389 At A) #390 Is Where I Copy and paste ObjectSetInteger(chartID,lineName,OBJPROP_TIMEFRAMES,OBJ_PERIOD_H1);

2)Under #463 At B) #464 Is Where I Copy and paste ObjectSetInteger(chartID,lableName,OBJPROP_TIMEFRAMES,OBJ_PERIOD_H1);

But where do I place the 1st part of your code? and which Line # ? so I can have The Daily Line Range Period To True to only be displayed on(Multiple TF Specified) the M15,M30,H1 OR M15, H1 Time Frame.

Your Insights will be highly appreciated.

I've posted all I have, if you need anything else you have to be more specific. I understand that is everything needed but I don't know for sure.
I want to trade in every alert for all patterns. That is the rule. Would like to be able to set the amount of pips for profit and stoploss.

  1. My post has four code windows. The top two code windows are examples and code reference.
  2. The bottom two are code as applied to the indicator for visualization in H1 timeframe only.
  3. If I understand correctly you have applied the bottom two edits, compiled without error and the indicator lines and text are visible in H1 only.
  4. If you are happy with visualization in H1 only there is nothing further to do.
  5. If you want to add more timeframes to the H1 code use the "|" (without quotes) between code options. eg To add M15 to H1 edit the two bottom code windows of my post as follows -
    Inserted Code
    ObjectSetInteger(chartID,lineName,OBJPROP_TIMEFRAMES,OBJ_PERIOD_M15|OBJ_PERIOD_H1);
    and
    Inserted Code
    ObjectSetInteger(chartID,lableName,OBJPROP_TIMEFRAMES,OBJ_PERIOD_M15|OBJ_PERIOD_H1);
  6. Add or remove from the code as many timeframe options as required. - https://docs.mql4.com/constants/objectconstants/visible
