I'm looking at the same level, but I'm a little afraid of the spikes we can so above this level...

What about 1.3705? Today I started the trial month on tradingview, so I can see more volume here on the futures chart...

What do you think?

Hmm yeah i see what you mean. Could probably reduce the risk on this one.

Good luck with Trading View let us know how you get on. This is my view of that UC level since yesterday and before it seems price has oscillated around it. It might be worth a look if price returns but probably will blast straight through.

Calling it a day with markets closing in the US soon. Missed some close ones today. Probably mis-managed the UY trade too, but I got out at BE. Price moved so fast at the level that I hestitated and had a bad fill. I could have made +10 had I entered a little different, but I'll take a BE any day to learn a lesson!

3 trades for +20. Some are paper. Some are real. The paper ones would be the trades that happen when I'm not around the computer or sleeping during the first part of the London session.

This could be a nice level on UC, but it's low volume now in the market and price has been touching 10 pips above at 47 above a few times. Probably risky. I won't take it.

Be carefull tomorrow with GBP there's a bunch of data coming out..

Indeed GBP red news events and USD red news event => No trading

Last night we had a full blow to SL

You can see here...a full blow of the POC until the VAH (POC => alsohigh volume and it becomes resistance directly (things where changed here))
Is that abehaviour what happens more often after a blw of a high volume level....?! if so then it could be interesting for watch out after such blow....

Well perfect I would say!!....

But why was the trade not executed? ...was there RedNews for CAD? or did the spread provide the trade to execute?

Can you look back in MetaTrader why the trade did not executed? Maybe you can see what the spread was at the execution time. (in tab-Expert or maybe in additional logging if it is existing in your EA)

What is your max. spread setting in the EA?

100% agree with you.
I usually don't trade GBP it's too unpredictable with all brexit's news, now it's getting worst

I think I have spread set to 2.5pip max in the EA and I've not set it to produce a log of why a trade didn't trigger but I should . My broker sucks though and spread widens all the time. Lost out on a few trades because of this. I'm tempted to just set pending orders and forget. just use the 20TP and 20SL and see what happens. Ziggy had success with this.

Guys is anyone here using ziggy's 20 pip sl tp rule?

I've been thinking about this approach.. Ziggy says not to move stop to be at any point i.e. no trade management as it makes no difference to the results.

Since we don't move the stop to break even when the trade is 15 pips in profit, by this logic shouldn't we also be taking zones that have been tested? i.e. price comes within 5 pips of pending entry and moves away 15 pips or more and then comes back down to entry.. This is the same scenario as being in a trade and 15 pips in the green only to have price come back down to entry..

What do you guys think?
