Well I bit off far more than I could chew today and got my arse spanked by the markets! Decided to cut all positions and I am going to withdraw most of what is left and start again next week. For the rest of the week I am out having some much needed R&R

All in all I can't complain as after today I will have withdrawn about 12000 pounds in a just a few short weeks.

Now I just hope I can do it all again!

Edit: Deleted my Trade Explorer as it is a sore reminder of what a muppet I was today Might start it afresh next week but I'm not sure yet.

Well Shit happens right. Intereting to see some of the comments coming in today

What happened happened because I traded far too much volume. Guess what, thats what I do and it's actually how I like to trade. I will do it again and I will make a lot more money.

So I worked out that I have withdrawn exactly 13,200 13,700 pounds since the beginning of May April .

I can't be anything but happy with that! Thats not failure folks!

Oh and I still have just over 500 to trade with next week. Bonus!

Good call Wiz. Its all part of the fun/learning after all.
If theres one thing ive taken from your trades and trying it on occasion during the week, M1 provides a great learning curve. It puts you through more emotion and decisions in a week than a lot probably see in a year.

You're right buddy, it is all part of the learning process. I know a thing or two but I never claimed to be any kind of expert. In fact I'm sure I said a couple of times in this thread that I wasn't. About 2 years of trading experience and managing to make profits - I'll take that!

Thanks mate. I think I need to do what you do and have 2 accounts. One (the main one) that I treat with a lot of respect, and the other for "fun".

Indeed. We all know how important having the right attitude/trading psychology is and also how difficult that side of trading can be.

People will debate the methods but I think we can all agree that Wizlon has his head in the right place.

You should! Make 2 accounts at the same broker. Instead of withdrawing the profits from your scalping account, just move them over into your lower risk account. This way your money is always growing. Just got to be diligent about it though

I agree. I didn't truly know till he messaged here after taking the losses. It takes a lot to do that! Owning up to your mistakes to the public is no fun but takes a GOOD TRADER to do it. Wizlon32 WILL have more success in the feature I guarantee it. This type of attitude and outlook is lacking in so many traders and really, it's the attitude needed for long-term trading success.
From my perspective you started with 300 euro and withdrawn something along the lines of 17k euro... I don't see any failure here, in fact I'm seeing another obstacle in front of your success.

You've learned a lot from this journal, but maybe you've got distracted with things like this thread... not that it wasn't great, but you being the key player, it might've been a distraction imho

Showing your trade explorer adds uncessary pressure. I have seen this many times here, one having a bad day only made worse by trolls or negative people. There are many positives out of this method . The ability to detect market player positions is one of those.

I agree here. Especially when the trading strategy requires A LOT of discretion. Distractions and pressure can easily affect discretionary judgement.

Nice work with your trading Wizlon, hope to see more from you in the future! You demonstrate that success in the market ultimately ties to the trader and not the system, not saying there is anything wrong with your system of course. I'll attach one of my quintessential trading books for those who suffer analysis paralysis or are still on a quest for a holy grail trading system and want to comment here and discredit what you've accomplished. Keep it up

I'm telling you, Wiz - the positive attitude that you put out in this journal is worth its weight in gold on its own. I don't contribute directly to the thread as per your method, basically because when I scalp, I use a different technique and my main trading methods are different all-in. However, I have used similar methods as yours in the past and know the ups-and-downs it brings - it's a hell of a thing and as such I also can vouch for the fact that riding that particular bronco takes all kinds of cojones! Great job, buddy - keep it up!

EDIT: I'd also second the comments about not bothering with a Trade Explorer.

I think you have done a great job here, showing what can be done with a small account and growing fast! As you have said you already done a nice withdrew and you made over 13k in a month for 500! that's some achievement since coming onto your thread I have learnt a lot and also been studying the charts, must says your defo on to something.

In just 6 day (three trading days lol) this is my account and I can say it all down to you, your great trading and attitude!
