well same here... but have cut down my bigger positions, only longer term small positions are on the way...

Trending market can render indicators useless, it can stay oversold/overbought.

Not sure about the trend or reversal but I think 1227 is good long scalp. I close it manually if it doesn't start going up within 60 mins.
Charts: XAUUSD/UJ/EU. Tools: stoch/daily pivots/fibo/channels. Scalper.

I see gold bouncing on 100 ma on daily and looks like some support at 1227, but other than that it's hard to say where gold is going atm. Always expect the unexpected

For me, the most important resistance level for the uptrend to be in 1236.
And as long as this line is not broken and the candle above this trend line will be closed.
The reason to wait. Trading is risky at this time. Top 1235 can be bought. To 1236.5.
On the other hand the 1226 to 1225 trend until 1221.

However, as I pointed out last week, XAU/USD is approaching an important an area where a medium-term bullish trend line and the bottom of the weekly and the daily charts cluster. Down below, there is an anticipated support zone that stretches from 1222 to 1218, so the market has to dive down below there to test the 1210.70-1207. If this support is broken, then the 1198/5 zone will probably be the next stop. Once below 1195, look for further downside with 1187 and 1180 as targets. To the upside, the initial resistance sits at 1235.30, followed by 1242. If XAU/USD convincingly penetrates 1242, we might see an extension towards 1250/48. A daily close above 1250 could foreshadow a move to 1265/1.
