Does anybody know a MT4 indi "with zero line" like currency-strength-indicator ?

Rocky.

Looking at your profile, are these normally the pairs that you trade that gives consistently a smooth curves. Do you trade index's and if so which index would you recommend.

For Gold - what is your pips that you set the range bars to? I loaded it yesterday and saw it jumping around a lot.

thanks a lot for continuously sharing this for such a long time already!

One question: does the power indicator only help you identify the volatile pairs or do you take direction from it too? I.e. if a currency appears weak on the H1 / H4 power, do you only short it or would you also take long entries?

Where does one put the stop loss. At the base of the shadow or at the point of the arrow?

Although I am not big fun of proprietary paid indicators, I have good experience with this MT4 currency indicator, you can see examples and how it works here:

Morrishe, Yes it trade indexes, occasionally most when nothing much is going on. I trade nq, ym, tf and es, no real preference.

My gold charts are set for 5 ticks.

Trazer, Currency ind. is mainly identify weakest/ strongest currencies, not to identify pairs to trade. Yes I will mainly trade in that direction, unless I see a strong DVRG. setting up or later in the dsy after a large move, you can pick up some easy money when people close their winners you trade the pullback.

Morrishe, place sl's where you feel comfortable, i usaully use first swing hi/lo near my timeline and usually use bottoms/tops of bars not wicks.

Rocky - what is NQ, YM, TF and ES. Sorry I do not know the abbreviations.

I used 5 ticks but it bounced all over the place so I changed it to 50 pips and that slowed it down considerably.

NQ=Nasdaq, YM=Dow, TF=Russell index and ES+S&P 500.

Gold charts are by nature jumpy, which is why I rarely trade gold unless I'm seeing the kind of charts I like. using 50 tick bars to trade could get pricey as each var is worth $500. most I would use would be 10 ticks., also sometimes charts are smoother when you use time based say 5min, or tick back say 233or 333.

Since hunting through lots of charts to find good consolation for entries takes time and some judgement, and is the most difficult part of making this system work for me, does anyone have interest in posting here (or elsewhere) pair trade ideas between NY open and London close?

Do you mean between London open and NY close?

I'd be interested in sharing posts here (or somewhere else) for potential setups. Work has been busy so not trading much, but I think if I (and others) were to look for setups and post, I would trade more and it can help all of us.

Thoughts?

I think that's a great idea!
But since it is always kind of time-sensitive, maybe a chat instead of a forum thread might be better?

Also: USDCAD is showing some nice consolidation right about now, although little on either currency on the power meter...

hi, i use tik chart with xsuper trend indicator, like aditional chart, i look on h1,h4 simply chart for direction of the market, then wait 2min chart to broke super trend and chage the color of candle, then i take decision for enter..just go in direction of big tf.. after first candle of supertrend broke.
TP is up to you, i use weekly pivost, sr lines.

Here are last 2 trades. Done for the day, going on a paddle board trip in a couple of hours to see the herons and do some snorkleling, should be fun.
