Hello everyone i am new here and that it is my first trade i would like to share.Big thank you to all who post here and help others!

EURJPY M1 +6PIPS SHORT

- PA made a series of lower tops, the last one was a red candle with notable volume, which also broke the Dragon
- So, I waited for a small retrace and entered.
Got my target and exited.

first trades using this system...i think it's ok...USDCAD finally go green, but USDJPY has reverse his trend and take SL

USDJPY has been inside a 10 pips channel since Lo, I wouldn't consider that small downwards move a trend.

I guess you got in before it went higher than the previous top, right?

Typical up and down post-news. Got in after the break of .75/dragon with big volume. Closed at 200 EMA / prenews top.

I like to analyze the losses, break support and in the small correction jump the SL of 10 pips.
bad luck?
SL too small?
I had to wait for confirmation?

Either you get in earlier or you wait for a retrace, the price had already pushed down a lot.

Usually, I would wait until PA breaks the key level,
but in this case, I didn't because I saw PA making lower tops and it broke the 200EMA and the Dragon for the second time with a red candle and notable volume, so I entered there.

You entered too early. You needed to wait until PA tries to bounce back to Dragon and you should have entered after that.

Hi all!

I've got a general question regarding money management and lotsize. How do you calculate your max. lotsize? Is it a percentage of your account size (of course depending on your SL)? If so, what percentage do you recommend? Or do you use a different approach?

I'm currently using a position size calculator to calcute my lotsize roughly (e.g. http://www.myfxbook.com/forex-calculators/position-size) but I would like to know what risk ratio is reasonable (I'm currently using approx. 1%).

EURUSD M1 +5PIPS SHORT

- There were a lot of candles with notable volume at 1.09750 key level, PA went down from there. For me this was an indication that bears would eventually push PA even more down
- I spotted a S/R area at around 1.09708, and I saw that PA broke it with a red candle and notable volume. I waited for a small retrace and entered right after that
Got my target and exited.
