This is a very interesting methodology to calculate Zig-Zag, have you tried other oscillators also?

Yes I have, a stochastic would be a very good alternative to soft setup because it has many-many crosses here and there as the macd soft mode.

Little secret

When the market broke and close above 1.382 FIB level of the last leg
by then we have a breakout confirmation to respective trend.

Why didn't I sell EURUSD and took break even?

Another reason why is, it failed to break below 1.382% fib level which is needed to confirm further downside.
Look at that long wicked, whiptail and retreated back to 100%

Here is the reason why I was bullish on USDJPY during the FED and interest rate news and took profits of it, market poked that fib level many time in the H1 chart and managed to penetrate 1.382% FIB
