This looks very similar to Tom Yeoman's currency indicator. The text is in a different location and his allows you to pick and choose your currencies which lowers your CPU resources. As well, the input periods are easy to change, and the 0 line can be converted to a base currency. For instance, if you trade GBP pairs, then make the GBP the 0 line and input JPY, USD, EUR, AUD, etc, and you get an automatic crossover. So, not sure how much more work you want to do since it seems this is already invented. Good Luck.

Sounds interesting ,but here you can't lower usage of CPU by turning off any currency, because the things that are using most of the power are separate from calculations for each currency. Is his indicator also based on CCFp? Only one or two updates are planned and they are: calculating all candles without much CPU usage per tick and other is to show only the currencies that are in chosen currency pair.
Thanks!

Would love your input on JPY for today. Cheers.
Ignored
As you can see JPY already started to "weaken" yesterday , then Trump commented and USD weakened and now it looks like JPY will weaken again, but be aware that there are different resistances to both sides in each pair, for example, in USDJPY there is larger resistance in upward movement than downward movement. There is upcoming news in calendar today so ,be aware that they might influence your trades. Currently USDJPY has large potential for movement so good news for USD is desirable right now.

There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers. About suggestion , I don't think that it is necessary. It is better to put some effort in your analysis and think why it is weak or strong, than looking at indicator box like you showed. Also box would show how strong is the currency, it would show only location of line. How I read this indicator is, I see those lines as indication where the money is flowing, if they go up then money is flowing to those currencies, if down , then away. How to determine strength? Look at the angle of trend line , how smooth is the line , how far away from 0 it goes, how long is the trend(in time), that is the true indication of strength.
Regards and good luck!

Ran into some problem on my desktop with this, it worked perfectly on my laptop. Problem is that the indicator window fills almost the whole chart and I can't move the border downward. It worked when I opened a new chart and added the indi but when I added other indicators and changed the colors or the settings of the indicator it did it again. This is weird because laptop could handle it well.

Hello Fxanalysis, your Currency Strength Indy is excellent. But could you please add the following features:
-Multi Time Frame Ability
-Show only Chart Pair
-Alert for Cross-Over of the individual Oscillators, as well as Cross-Over of 0 Level.

You Indy has been very useful for me, Thanks.

More than sure I will have no time for it!

If you inform yourself, you will learn that this indicator and many other variations here in forum, use for calculations the distance between current close and low of the day.
What do you want to take for W1 or MN ...?

All users believe that this is the ultimate formula.
I have written in another post that there are still two or three variants, where one is a calculation with momentum or with MA-Slope.
For these variants one can change the timeframe without problems.
