In my years of doing business in many countries, never seen a tax reform that benefits the people. You always land up paying more. Depends on how you look at it. Certainly they are getting their point home, the dollar will be the loser here.

Average Joe in the West will come out of this central banks fiat saga out of control much poorer then he already is. It will be interesting to see if he will burn down the house or just let it be. Chinese are buying gold reserves like crazy. They obviously don't believe in USD as long term reserve currency anymore.

have a look at the following chart and the article. Draw conclusions yourself but it is clear that tax is just one element of the more complex puzzel and on its own tax cuts does not generate growth.
