Fishing EA

This strategy is a lot easier on my nerves.

The entry steps are calculated by the expert from when the expert is started. If the expert is removed from the chart it starts all over again to find a big step. VPS would be needed for sure. Not sure if it restarts to calculate only if it is removed or if it also restarts if the computer is turned off. Will test for that today on demo. I think it is only when it is removed from the chart. If that's the case then VPS would be a good idea but not absolutely necessary.

In preliminary testing on the demo it appears that as long as the expert remains on the chart even if auto trading is stopped it will retain the calculation for the step from when it was initiated. So if there is an interruption in the server, or the platform goes offline when it is back up and running the calculation is not interrupted. Not sure about the last part.
So far I have set for 20 pips steps... let it open and close few trades to confirm the 20 pip step. then stopped auto trade for a little while until prices moved 10 pips.Then turned auto trade back on. The chart and the expert remained the same.

Sheesh. Had to wait all day for the expert to open a trade. But it confirmed that as long as the expert is on the chart, even auto trading is turned off, when it is turned back on the expert will continue to calculate the step from where it was originally.
Now to try this with shutting down the platform but leaving the chart and expert in tact.
If it does not disturb the step calculation this will be a great relief.

Testing now to see if the calculation for the step resets when the platform is shut down and then opened again.

Shutting mt4 down and then restarting it does reset the calculations.
Now to test if losing internet connection resets..

thank you for your thread. i like this ea,too. one problem with the mt5 vertion: it can not be as auto as the mt4 one does. did you solve it?

Hi Jiva,

I was following this thread from few days. Results mentioned in discussion seems great and I wanna give it a try.

Actually I couldn't get the idea of how to use this EA. I mean when I launch this EA in strategy tester it opens positions in both direction and at any moment the net profit of all positions is negative. The EA does not close any position (as it was mentioned earlier this is a SemiAuto Bot).

Can you please guide me what is the exact idea of using this EA?

i like you EA its very good EA but i was check my backtest jan 2018 to may 2019 M1

but April 2018 to may 2018 this two months backtest faill if my idea is once add a lot increament means i think so it will be success and trend base order means i think it will be 100% perfect can you add this sir....

Do you still use cm_fishing_AK(1)plus time2? What is your experience?
I figured out only using it from 02:00 to 08:00 on EURJPY, only long, 100 pips an 10 for Close Profit All works ok. Thanks!
